This position will be part of the Central territory marketing team. This team will be accountable for

  • Bringing our Consumer Fields of Play to life in the territory through key relationships with the faces (individuals and communities) & places that matter most to dimensionalize Running, Fitness, and Football, and leveraging our on-the-ground connectivity to youth, sport & culture
  • Amplifying our Concept Map through complementary executions on the ground that build off Global-Geo campaigns, eg through pinnacle activations
  • Ensuring our Nike Sport Marketplace on the ground in Central, and especially in Germany, shows up as pinnacle and sharply connected to our Field of Play visions
  • Fuelling our global engine with sharp, relevant consumer insights that can scale

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This position will work fluidly across the Central marketing brand team, as well as with key stakeholders in the Central and EMEA organization. Moreover, the individual will build strong relationships with key partners in the territory with a focus on Germany.

  • First years of relevant experience in marketing, ideally brand management
  • Passion for sport and a deep understanding of its athletes and communities, their motivations and challenges
  • Campaign Management: Hands-on experience supporting marketing campaign from planning through to executions delivering on clear objective and KPI's.
  • Executional Excellence & Attention to Detail: Focus on delivering efficient and timely results, while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Adaptability: Skills demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and being able to adjust quickly to changing business needs and feedback in a dynamic environment.
  • Consumer Insight & Activation: Have a deep understanding of our key consumer in Berlin and Germany and having the proven ability to gather and apply consumer insights to boost seasonal brand plans.
  • Innovation & Growth Mindset: a continuous learner who explores new marketing approaches, testing and improving engagement and overall campaign success.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As Specialist II Brand Marketing, Central, you will be a part of the Central Brand Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Director Brand Marketing Central.

This is a fully agile brand marketing role. This will ensure that in an ever-changing landscape, and with priorities that sometimes focus more deeply on one particular area of the Brand & Business, that we always have enough resource to ensure pinnacle execution of our most key projects. This role will span across the priority fields of plays, working on key territory based projects, or to drive the amplification of a Geo-led concept map story, or even potentially in more close partnership with the Geo Consumer Construct team based in EHQ.

Key duties that are associated with this role include:

  • Partnership cultivation: Identify people & organisations that best align to our brand values and can best bring our individual Consumer Field of Play strategies to life. Then manage these relationships in a robust yet sustainable fashion
  • Campaign Support: Support the amplification of key Concept Map stories through on-the-ground executions. This can include but is not limited to pinnacle Nike brand executions but also come through our wholesale marketplace in the form of on-the-ground partner marketing executions.
  • Consumer Insights: continuously gather and apply consumer insights, helping us better serve our consumer in Germany. Feeding back these insights to EMEA/Global in order to help refine our longer-term strategy
  • As needed, potentially stretching into other marketing functional areas within the Central marketing team, including Energy, the Nike Sport Marketplace, or Operations & Planning
