WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Working as part of a wider diverse team which spans across all Nike Direct channels (Digital, Full Price stores, Clearance/Value channels), you will report to the EMEA Merchandising Operations Manager as part of the Digital Operations team. You will have daily contact with the Merch Ops, Pricing Ops and 3PP Ops team and, as well as Merchants, Planners, Allocators and peers.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Nike Direct Merchandising Operations team support the day-to-day operations for both our digital and store business. We work in an exciting and dynamic environment which is a key growth area of the organization. As part of a broader operations team, we continuously learn from each other. There's never a dull moment!

Merchandising Operations Specialists (MOS) make sure we can bring our product assortment to our consumers across all Nike retail channels (Digital, Full Price, Value/Clearance channels) every season. This role is specifically focused on operational tasks enabling us to plan, buy and trade products for our Nike Direct EMEA business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail and Nike's products to accelerate their career with Nike retail at a time of huge growth, in a role where they will gain insight into all areas of the retail organization.

Our ideal candidate is proactive, diligent, able to adapt to new situations quickly, like to think creatively to tackle problems efficiently, and can communicate well to a broad set of stakeholders across the EMEA business.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the below:

  • Experience in a digital retail or operations related field.
  • The right mix of analytical skills, attention to detail, with an operational, process and problem-solving approach and affinity with retail and sports.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and ability to pick up new tools & systems quickly.
  • Strong professional English-language communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A clear and results-driven mindset, with the ability to drive accountability and collaboration within a team

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The Merch Ops Specialist works in a cross-functional team that plans, buys and trades product across the Nike Direct marketplace. In this MOS role, you are the primary contact for all data-flow, contract, product information, and operational matters.

In a typical week you will be responsible for entering the product assortment into our systems and checking/setting up product information to make sure data flows accurately into downstream systems. In a highly dynamic retail environment, you continuously keep the assortment in our systems up to date, and your stakeholders informed on all aspects of your ongoing projects.

In addition, you will play an integral role in Nike's Sustainability and Move To Zero initiatives, ensuring that products are given an extended/new life through, e.g., donation, up-cycling, refurbishment.

Please note that relocation is not provided for this role.
