WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A dynamic procurement professional who is an entrepreneurial problem solver and can develop strategic relationships, project plan while rolling out strategies to improve supply chain bottle necks with our indirect suppliers!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In Sourcing Operations, you will develop Indirect Sourcing strategies to support our North America Supply Chain Distribution Centers. You will focus on Sourcing and Request for Proposal procedures, supplier relationship management and contract negotiations! Identifying improvement opportunities related to procurement operational policies, processes, and procedures to enhance procurement operations and improve vendors Key Performance Indicators.

Consolidate information and develop PowerPoint presentations to present to various levels of management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance within related function and compliance with audit items. Providing customers service which includes training end users and or suppliers on policies, processes, and procedures. Work with legal teams on contract negotiations. Forecasting and inventory planning with some of our key indirect suppliers. Must have the ability to apply the 7-step sourcing process, develop Request for Proposals, create sourcing and contract strategies to meet various market conditions. Validate that vendors are capable and qualified to meet Nike requirements.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Partner with Nike attorneys to arrange favorable business terms and conditions. Work with various levels of Distribution Center Teams: Operations, Finance, HR, Facilities/Maintenance, I.T., Engineering, Sustainability and E.H.S. teams.

Partner with Global Procurement, Marketplace Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Global Packaging and Transportation teams to develop strategies to improve supply chain efficiencies and scale across North America network.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business or equivalent experience in Manufacturing/Warehousing or Supply Chain.
  • Clear understanding of 7- step sourcing process.
  • CPM or CPSM certification preferred.
  • Experience in Coupa and all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with forecasting, planning, and budgeting
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast pace environment
  • Capable of handling ambiguity and working with limited supervision
  • Project Management experience required
  • Experience with SAP and Tableau (preferred, not required)
