Software Engineer - NIKE. Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Contributes to system design, capacity planning, operations, maintenance, implementation and sustainment activities across development, staging and production environment; provides support of our applications including escalation and system performance of production platforms, and perform systems analysis and tuning to ensure optimal operating systems response for multi-user applications; leads technical development of Digital Product(s) that meets the consumer needs as defined by product managers and aligns with architectural standards; develops, codes/configures, tests programs/systems and solutions problems in order to meet defined digital product specifications and direction; assesses a well-defined problem and leads the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards; manages small- to moderate-sized solutions, or plays a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints; provides direction to team members and/or vendors; advises product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulates options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and works with product owners to determine the best solution. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics or Management Information Systems and Five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related computer occupation.
