About Nike Direct Digital Commerce

The role of Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) is to drive the most compelling digital consumer experiences - motivated by insights and data - to deliver Nike's vision to consumers and to accelerate profitable, member-led growth across Nike Digital platforms (Nike App, Nike.com, SNKRS). NDDC operates as a business unit in close connection with Nike Stores and Nike Marketplace Partners, to jointly serve Consumers across the integrated Nike Sport Marketplace.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Nike Direct Digital Commerce Operations team and report to the EMEA Director Content Operations. You will work closely with cross functional teams across capabilities, brand marketing, commerce, membership, product, and global operations to ensure Nike's operational agenda from content creation to publishing are managed and executed against strategic priorities and our member's needs. The Senior Supervisor will lead Nike's cross-channel leads to support the enablement of sport and marketing content across the Nike digital ecosystem withing the EMEA Digital Content Operations EMEA team. They will be managing 3 channel leads as well as be the main point of contact for the external authoring agency which builds and publish Nike's content.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a senior supervisor who will bring lead cross functional projects and launching new tools, processes and digital experiences. You have a strong affinity for technology, vendor management and an operational rigor coupled with relationship building skills. On a daily basis, you will exhibit analytical thinking and ability to adapt quickly to new priorities, combined with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Your mandate is to drive operational excellence (incl. managing the relationship with vendor(s)) and support a unified vision for the future of digital publishing needs, by developing enhanced processes and help drive improved capabilities toward that vision.

  • Strong affinity and/ or proven successful experience in managing and coaching people
  • Proven experience of successful project and process management
  • Proven experience of vendor management and reporting in either a digital, operations or technology environment
  • Proven ability to apply rigor and analytical thinking to operational processes
  • Proven ability to create new and improve existing operational processes and systems
  • Previous operations experience in digital content management or production is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
  • Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives, and work with cross functional teams and knowing when to escalate issues to leadership
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
  • Self-starter, quick-learner, quality-focused and proactive

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will drive operational excellence ensuring continuity to support the enablement of sport and marketing content across our digital ecosystem. You help identify and advocate for the future operability needs of the business and drive prioritization of new processes and tools to continually improve how we optimize digital production and publishing workflow. In this role, you will support capabilities prioritization in partnership with the Digital Commerce & Capabilities team and to an extent Product, Design, Technology, Brand Marketing and Commerce functions. Your core responsibilities are:

  • You drive E2E operational excellence for all content production & publishing activities through continuous process building and capability optimization (this includes daily support ticket triaging to understand areas of focus to streamline operations)
  • You will lead a team to be the Center of Excellence (CoE) for content authoring and thought partner for upstream teams
  • You will lead and manage a cross-channel team consisting of Subject Matter Experts (SME) that specializes in authoring across Nike owned ecosystem.
  • You are responsible for the growth and improvement of operability by feeding bottom-up requirements with Capabilities CoE team to enable innovative & future consumer experiences within Nike's content management systems
  • You will obsess processes to enable best in class collaboration and end-to-end frictionless executions by building upstream partnerships with key stakeholders
  • You drive frequent reporting to help inform leadership on vendor quality delivery, resourcing allocation and areas of focus around team management
  • You are responsible for managing and coordinating all operational aspects (i.e. traffic management and ensuring service level agreements accountabilities) with the external vendor ensuring business continuity.
  • You will work closely together with the Content Ops Director and support with Contract & Risk management
  • Accountable for rolling out new capabilities (to "BAU") and communicating status of projects/programs and rollout plans to all stakeholders
  • Act as resource of expertise (SME) on tools & capabilities utilized for content operations with upstream teams through stakeholder facilitation to align work needed for current/upcoming initiatives.
