WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The role of a Senior, Strategic Partner Representative WE is a critical role for Converse, as we are accelerating our focus towards our strategic partners.
We are looking for someone with account relationship experience and sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Account Management: Work with the Senior Manager, Marketplace Partners Validate to effectively execute the strategic account plan. Accountable for all elements of account management including futures and at once sales, in line with budgets and specific order capture deadlines. Provide account feedback to key stakeholders including the Senior Manager, Marketplace Partners Validate and Business Planning Manager. Consistently developing market knowledge on product trends, pricing and the competition to maximize Converse product placement and sales within the account. Effective implementation of seasonal brand communication initiatives, in line with strategic account direction.
- Planning: Work with Senior Manager, Marketplace Partners Validate to develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans. Conduct monthly and seasonal business reviews with account. Meet all reporting deadlines in a timely and consistent manner.
- Communication: Establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships. Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of the customer's business. Communicate daily with MPO contacts and Integrated Account Team ensuring all are aware and informed of opportunities, problems, progress, and support needed.
- Results: Accountable for the execution and coordination of the day to day running of the account, ensuring all budgets and deadlines are met in a timely and consistent manner.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role you will report to a Senior Manager, Marketplace Partners Validate. You will work very closely with the Integrated Account Team and more specifically with the Merchandising, Business Planning, Retail Marketing and Marketplace Operations.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Very strong account management and/or buying experience ideally within the Fashion / Sports or Retail industry or FMCG industry
- Experience of managing account relationships across buying and merchandising
- Strong strategic capabilities
- Sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with effective presentation skills
- Strong communication skills - cross functional
- Process and operational capability
- Strong knowledge of Converse business and products.
- Strong Team dynamic - cross multiple functions.
- Ability to analyze retailer sales data to identify opportunities, and act accordingly
