As a Nike Senior Store Manager, your mission is to bring Nike to life for our consumers. The Senior Store Manager is accountable for developing both leaders and athletes within a high profile/volume store to successfully implement Nike's programs and premium consumer experience(s) in order to drive business results.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A top-tier retail leader with a successful track record for building a dynamic high volume, complex store in a fast-paced environment, with high-visibility and potential brand impact. The ideal candidate has the ability to build inclusive, diverse teams through hiring, professional development, ongoing training, and consistent accountability. This leader will have the skillset to identify technical, operational, and organizational roadblocks and seek partnership to resolve them promptly. This leader also has the ability to process non-routine information and convey complex information across diverse stakeholders/audiences.

They will lead, value, and inspire their team to prioritize customer service and deliver the Nike experience to our consumers. A strong connection to the community will be supported by Nike's Community Ambassador program to further build partnerships within the local community.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As an elevated leader, you will directly lead a large team including varying levels from Assistant Store Managers to Sales Associate. You will drive Store Operations and Brand Initiatives including P/L statements, labor management, expenses, activations and programs. You are tasked with coordinating all the Team and Business results (critical metrics) of the store.

You will lead people, store operations, and store environment to achieve sales, service, organization, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals while maintaining safety and operational standards. You are responsible for communication and delivery of rewards and recognition of the store team. You will build succession plans and effectively handle performance and corrective action processes to drive People Strategy planning.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Senior Store Manager provides support to the Retail District Director to develop long term strategies for store growth and opportunity. You'll work closely with District Partners to maintain safety standards, compliance, loss prevention practices and facilities management.

Qualifications - External

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 6 years retail experience, or 7 years retail experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of store management experience
  • Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership and management
  • Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a brand retailer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to build, lead with courage and manage high profile performing teams
  • Ability to utilize tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed
  • Passion for the Nike Brand
  • costumer service in a brand retailer
