WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

At Global Places & Services (GPS), our mission is to design and bring to life places and services for the enterprise - creating one Nike ecosystem to unite the world through sport. Our team manages Nike's portfolio of locations and stewards six unique capabilities on behalf of the enterprise - Location, Environments, Mobility, Sport, Nutrition and Events.

The GPS Business Management function leads annual strategy and operational planning processes for the organization, driving the development of key strategies, crafting organizational connections, and enabling business reporting across our global team. To track progress against those plans, the team oversees business reporting, spearheads communication and strategy dissemination, facilitates workshops, off-sites and large team meetings.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You'll proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate smart business decisions, communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to managers and cross-functional team members on a weekly basis. You'll collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge. In addition, you'll participate in a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance, supporting and fostering an open and inclusive environment that embraces diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience
  • Professional experience in areas such as Business Development, Business Planning, Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, Corporate Strategy or related field
  • Compelling, high-impact storyteller with the ability to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change at multiple levels throughout the organization
  • Experience at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities. Consistent track record of excelling and the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Proven capability of solving business problems though process analyses and insights
  • A growth mindset and ability to adapt quickly and make an impact in an organization through strong leadership and consensus-building skills
  • Creative problem solver, comfortable with ambiguous situations and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead with empathy, kindness and curiosity
  • Knowledge of construction project management, real estate portfolio management, and/or corporate services a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Working experience with Miro, Airtable, and other business management platforms preferred. Graphical design skills are a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As a Senior Specialist, Business Management, you'll be an integral part of the work that stewards and mobilizes the organization to deliver against our annual and long-term planning processes, enable business reporting, support creation of executive level presentations, garnering support for major projects and key initiatives. You will be a critical part of driving the rhythm of annual operating cycles, enabling business reporting, and developing communications to help foster understanding and connections across a globally dispersed team.

The right candidate will use their strategic insights, communication skills, and financial/business acumen to create an integrated and informed result. Which include:

  • Support the delivery of key operating moments in the planning cycle including driving long-term planning, CSR, OKR development, AOP, etc.
  • Develop, build, and implement frameworks, tools and processes to enable deployment and management of these cycles
  • Enable monthly and quarterly reporting of progress made against organizational objectives and key results to ensure alignment with enterprise and GPS strategic priorities
  • Develop clear and concise communications to support the annual business cycles and support teams with training on end goals and objectives
  • Lead critical projects as needs arise, leaning in and identifying opportunities, creating business cases, gathering support, and delivering desired outcomes
  • Build strong networks to share best practices and drive effective teamwork and communication
  • Engage stakeholders across GPS teams, key Nike internal partners and external partners to drive alignment and continuous improvement
  • Support the execution of leadership sessions, share outs and larger team connection moments
