WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Sourcing Manager is part of the Supply chain procurement team based in our European Logistics Campus in Laakdal. They sit within the Global Procurement function and work closely with peers in our European Logistics Headquarters (EHQ) and our Global Headquarter (WHQ). The Sourcing Manager will forge strong relationships with key partners in EMEA and Global supply chain to support sourcing needs. They will also have frequent interaction with teammates in Legal and Finance functions. This opportunity will provide the Sourcing Manager with opportunities to interact, present, and influence senior leaders to gain support for key initiatives and strategies.

We are looking for a Sourcing Manager within Supply Chain Procurement Procurement EMEA who will be part of a dynamic, impactful team of sourcing professionals supporting Nike's strategic supply chain initiatives. The Sourcing Manager must have rich procurement experience in the area of Transportion, 3PL, OPEX & CAPEX investments.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- Proven track record in Supply Chain Procurement
- Demonstrate your growth mindset and curiosity in the intersection of Procurement & Supply chain
- As a strong influencer and negotiator, you avoid splitting the difference!
- You communicate like a pro and very fluently in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch is a great asset.
- Your strong analytical skills derive insights from data
- Time is money: we need someone with strong project management and time management skills
- You will regularly travel to our headquarters in Hilversum, NL, but also to international partners and sites abroad

- The role will be based in Laakdal, Belgium at Nike's European Logistics Campus. Flexible working options are available with a requirement to be on site at least 3 days a week.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
The Sourcing Manager will advise and support Nike's business leaders during all phases of the sourcing lifecycle. They will master, communicate, and execute Nike's strategic sourcing process. They measure value captured, report performance, engage support from legal and finance teams, and implement sourcing initiatives using a suite of advanced sourcing and contract management tools. They are proficient in spend analysis, risk management, contracting, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, collaborator engagement, and use of strategic sourcing tools.
Sourcing Strategy
Define high-level objectives, requirement and demand analysis for sourcing projects in alignment with geo and global category strategy.
Identifying supply base based on category strategy, competitive analysis,industry trends and spend analysis.
Explore sourcing opportunities to fulfill category's goals.
Consult with category leadership to ensure sourcing plan aligns with global and regional category plans.
Sourcing Execution
Execute sourcing events (RFI / RFQ / RFP) with clear timelines and secure Nike's best interests with proper SOW, SLA, or KPI set up.
Mitigate risk through proper due diligence, deal evaluations and commercial agreements (T&C) negotiations.
Drive selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective suppliers based on collaboration with stakeholders on selection criteria and weighting.
Project Management
Prioritize projects within the space that the individual is managing, while delivering to the needs of the stakeholders and the company.
Execute and close each sourcing project, working cross-functionally end to end with legal, controlling, and purchasing and stakeholder.
Ability to raise issues and risks to members as needed.
Performance Management
Connect the work procurement does and impact on the company (cost reduction and cost avoidance, with qualitative impact that the procurement team measures).
Maintain connections with finance and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial and busines target delivery.
Conduct validation with key financial stakeholders and communicate value to stakeholder and Procurement performance management team
