We're looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join Nike's Insights, Data Science, and Analytics (IDSA) organization. This role will play a key position on the Quantitative Research team in service of our mission to bring clarity & confidence to critical decisions by listening to the voice of the consumer at scale.

The candidate needs to be a strategic teammate with strong end-to-end quantitative survey research experience, a keen sense of judgment, and the ability to creatively scale methodological rigor.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll become a member of the Quantitative Research Center of Excellence (COE) for Nike, Inc. We enable and empower research teams to develop best-in-class quantitative survey research across the enterprise!

You will have opportunities to scale high quality research by:

  • Establishing standard processes in survey writing, question methodologies and analysis techniques
  • Crafting and curating a toolkit of the best quantitative research agencies and technologies for our partners to use in their research process
  • Coaching research teams on survey science best practices and research brief refinement through interpersonal consultations, research templates, and playbooks
  • Empowering research teams to stay connected and drive high return on investment with research insights by developing a platform and technologies to support survey data connectivity throughout Nike
  • Scaling agile research programs to provide greater access to the right audiences at the right moments
  • Proactively providing thought leadership for survey science standards and process refinement
  • Designing measurably effective operating models that reduce cost, effort, and redundancy
  • Developing a longitudinal understanding of Nike's most significant consumers

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work with the Director of Quantitative Research and a team of experienced methodologists. Collectively, you will partner with and enable Insights teams across the enterprise to win the moments that matter across Nike's core pillars and markets.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience(Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates)
  • Experience in survey writing & methodology, research brief creation, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques, with expertise in software tools such as JMP, SAS, R, or STATA
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights for diverse audiences and partners
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive critical initiatives, and achieve measurable outcomes
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to accommodate complex research objectives
  • Natural curiosity and ability for optimizing process
  • Aptitude for working well in teams and managing projects independently
