WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director, GPS (Global Places and Services) APAC based in Singapore and serve as a member of GPS's APAC Leadership Team. You will work closely with the members of the GPS APAC Leadership team, members of the broader GPS teams, key country stakeholders, teammates in the GPS locations around world and managers within Nike's global functions such as Finance, Procurement, Legal, Communications and Technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Senior Professional, GPS (Global Places and Services) Operations who will lead services operations for the APAC node. This role will oversee the development of the APAC vision, intentional and deliberate Service Operational implementation, and partner with cross functional teams to implement standards and processes; operationalize tools, capture metrics and measure KPI's connected to GPS's strategy.

Our ideal candidate has a team-spirit personality, a solid financial acumen, and a strategic mindset. The person should be well organized, self-driven, a flexible multitasker and prides themselves on high attention to detail. The strong candidate needs transformative problem-solving skills with talent for orchestrating and directing strategy implementation with strategic and critical thinking in development of key shifts within the APAC.

The candidate needs:

  • Minimum 5 years direct relevant work experience with regional/international exposure with bachelor's degree in relevant field, or combination of relevant education, experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and operationalize complex programs to meet commitments that are aligned with organizational goals in a dynamic, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • High profile verbal, logical and visual communication skills, and the ability to express concepts and ideas with clarity and persuasion to influence business partners across all levels of the organization and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with GPS and other key Nike partners
  • Proven contracting, financial evaluation and program management skills and budget consolidation and facilitate operational management
  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external partners with cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll be working with the GPS APAC team and performing a wide range of tasks to optimize existing operations, delivery insight for the GEO and Global leaders, and be a thought partner in streamlining the future APAC operating model.

On any given day, you might be leading team meetings or workshops, brainstorming solutions to complex problems or running detailed analysis of our service delivery model. This includes creating high-quality and impactful presentations and reports in Excel, as well as input into strategic programs. You will support the local teams to deliver end-to-end service operations, leveraging processes and tools defined globally.

Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Serves as the main point of contact for APAC Service Operations
  • While creating and maintaining relationships with Nike business, you will be responsible for leading service operations across APAC, guiding and supporting each of the GPS country leads for execution

Logistics & Event Planning:

  • Monitor the operational teams with input from the GPS country leads to measure effectiveness and success and oversee and track APAC node budgets.
  • Manage timely and clear communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Presentations:

  • Utilizes computer skills to create high quality graphic and text presentations often under tight timeframes. Interprets needs, determine and produce effective presentation layout, and organizes final documents.
  • Prepares special reports requiring the selection of relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Maintains and updates on-going reports or databases.
