WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented and experienced marketing expert with a deep understanding of progressive youth culture in the Nordics & connections to visionary creatives from various fields across Copenhagen and Stockholm. You need to be willing to move in an agile and experimental approach, always pushing the limits strategically to build new spaces for Nike and Sport.

  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, including developing and executing integrated marketing plans, identifying seeding strategies, creating content and media briefs, and supporting the development of innovative marketing strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of streetwear and sneaker culture, as well as fashion, art, and design.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners in fashion, art, music, design and other relevant occupations
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure timely execution of marketing plans.
  • Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously, delivering results under tight and complex timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and intrinsic passion for flawless execution.
  • Ability to communicate vision and purpose, building energy and optimism in others for the organization's vision.
  • Comfortable presenting marketing plans to various stakeholders, including brand marketing teams and other relevant business units, for both smaller projects and major campaign launches.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end and collaborate successfully within a team environment across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and accountability.
  • A strong team player who is open to grow themselves and others

A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements in order to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below.

Essential requirements:

  • You have longterm years' of relevant experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with a strong focus on cross- functional marketing.
  • Experience in cultural marketing in the Nordics and a demonstrable understanding of the visionary and forward-thinking customer, the city and Nike's position within it with credentials in strategic decision-making in this environment.
  • Proven experience identifying, owning and managing external relationships with thought leaders in the Nordics - with a strong focus on fashion, aligned with Nike's strategic objectives
  • Prior marketing experience in the Nordics and a demonstrable understanding of the consumer, the city and Nike's position within it, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions within this environment.
  • A desire and willingness to work in an agile fashion as needed

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

As the Senior Professional, Energy Marketing, Nordics, you will be a part of the Central Marketing Team , reporting directly to the Director, Energy Marketing, Central . Based in Stockholm, this role will be responsible for balancing relationship management & marketing execution through our key brand ambassador relationships across the Nike ecosystem, focused on Stockholm and Copenhagen: Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, managing and maintaining a network and a significant portfolio of cultural ambassadors in the Nordics, to boost the brand and create the future of sport
  • Providing exceptional service and brand management to all brand ambassador relationships
  • Creating visionary marketing concepts and stories aimed at identified brand ambassadors pushing the boundaries of creativity and sport and advancing the notion of sports culture in the Nordics
  • Feeding key brand ambassador relationships strategically into Geo & Global campaign work to catalyse our Brand and advance our position within our key marketing fields (Sportswear, Running, Football, Fitness)
  • Driving key "energy" campaigns through the marketplace in collaboration with our marketplace partners, to ultimately catalyse our inline business at scale
  • Gathering structured and ongoing information about forward-thinking customers to enable us to better serve creative youth on the ground in the Nordics, and providing feedback to EMEA/Global regions to support long-term concepts
