As the Senior Principal, Global Lease Services, you'll be part of an impactful team that is driving Nike's journey as an outstanding retailer within the Nike Stores organization! We are seeking someone to lead a world-class lease services organization and to master and implement a rent payment management and administration program in a very dynamic environment, working effectively and building trust with a variety of internal and external partners, while managing a complex matrix of internal and external partnerships with cross-functional teams across our global and geography teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our Senior Principal, Global Lease Services will serve and support global and geography counterparts in multiple functions, including Geo real estate operations, store development, lease administration, store construction, finance, and controlling. Additionally, this role will oversee critical service provider relationships in support of our Global Lease Services Center of Excellence that can adapt to local complexity and scale across Nike's extensive lease footprint around the world.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • MBA, CPA or equivalent real estate-specific experience required
  • 7 to 10 years Real Estate Operations and/or Real Estate Controlling/Finance experience required
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization
  • High Proficiency in TRIRIGA, Excel & Powerpoint required

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As our Senior Principal, Global Lease Services, you will provide leadership and the technical expertise for the efficient management of Nike's leased retail store portfolio. This role will lead the enterprise-wide Lease Services Center of Excellence to drive best-in-class fulfilment of Nike's obligations as a tenant, including oversight of Nike's Global Rent Management and Lease Administration programs. You will be responsible for supporting a wide array of internal and external partners, including senior leadership, and will lead the development of capabilities & frameworks that include identifying & implementing new technological capabilities, managing 3rd party service providers, and identifying best-in-class practices and processes.

  • Support and drive the creation, implementation, and management of global rent payment processes, including a globally scalable solution for sales reporting and turnover rent
  • Support and drive the creation, implementation, and management of a global cost recovery program, including CAM reconciliations and field audits
  • Create & Define new tools & frameworks supporting Lease Administration, Rent Payment, Audit & Portfolio Management practices
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to cross-functional partners (inclusive of Geos), with expertise in real estate and lease accounting, regional differences, and latest trends/activities
  • Evaluate asset / global real estate portfolio performance to see opportunities and recommend solutions within
  • Collaborate with Legal to drive compliance
  • Manage key vendor relationships
  • Partner with Global Finance to deliver financial management via annual capex review & capital planning and identify global fleet performance trends
