Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Nike Direct Senior Merchant Streetwear Apparel for Jordan Brand. In this role you will be driving the Jordan Streetwear Apparel assortment strategy for Nike Direct (Digital and Nike Stores) from pre-season concept to in-season trade and post-season hindsight.

The Nike Direct Senior Merchant Streetwear Apparel is responsible for translating the field of play strategy into a Nike Direct assortment strategy in line with the Jordan brand priorities and Nike Direct plans.

The scope of the role runs all the way from future season input informed by member insights and sales data to seasonal assortment creation and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

We are seeking a merchandising leader with a curious mindset and a natural drive towards data driven decision making at every step of the process.

The candidate needs to have a passion for the Jordan consumer as well as strong marketplace knowledge focused on consumer and product.

The role requires a highly collaborative team player with strong communication skills that is eager to own and drive the end-to-end process in a fast-paced environment and able to effectively collaborate with multiple cross functional partners.

What you will work on

You will craft and deliver long term merchandising plans for your fields of play that are in line with the brand strategy and translate these strategies with the team into consumer right assortments on a seasonal basis that deliver and exceed our business expectations.

This role is responsible for creating seasonal assortments for NDDC platforms and Nike Store concepts and partner with cross-functional team to land and execute seasonal plans aligned with the Jordan brand architecture while going after consumer and retail moments.

You will leverage member insights and sales results to read and react at the pace of the consumer and inform future assortment and line planning decision.

Who you will work with

This role will report into the Merchandising Director Nike Direct Jordan.

You will work closely with your cross-functional partners in Nike Direct (DSM, Marketing, Platform) as well as the cross-functional fields of play team and the wider Jordan merchandising team across consumer and marketplace.

What you bring

• Few years of experience in the industry (product, consumer and merchandising )
• Strategic thinking and the ability to evolve and drive change
• Strong business orientation, analytical approach, and retail math
• A clear understanding of the EMEA consumer and EMEA marketplace.
• Communicate vision and purpose - you are responsible for driving strategy short and long term and have inspirational storytelling skills
• Strong ability to work with peers, cross functional partners, and senior management on all aspects of the business within a matrix organizational set-up
• A forward looking, optimistic and curious attitude with a clear bias for action
• Proven track-record of successful stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills
• A desire to simplify and an ability to translate complex strategies into simple and concrete plans
• Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines with competing priorities
