Who we are looking for

As a Senior Merchandise Financial Planner you will play a critical role in defining, shaping and setting consumer demand. You will be responsible for defining and managing multi season revenue, receipt, and inventory plans for the geo, gender and or marketplace unit (MPU) while making adjustments based on its targets and actuals. You will translate insights into action through problem-solving and critical skills. You have a deep understanding of marketplace, product and inventory planning grounded in qualitative research data and insights. You excel at collaboration and building relationships cross functionally.

What you will work on

  • Define and manage multi season Merchandise Financial Plan for; geo, gender. and marketplace units
  • Adjust and align Merchandise Financial Plan to consumer architecture based on targets and actuals
  • Define location (Geo, Marketplace Unit) consumer demand, revenue, receipt, and inventory plans
  • Set and manage E2E Inventory Liquidation Plan across MPU
  • Reconcile assortment plan with merchandise financial plan and align to consumer architecture
  • Determine (Perform) Global and Geo, Pre and In-Season top down financial business targets
  • Determine cross MPU trade-off actions to optimize overall marketplace inventory health

Who you will work with

You will work within the DSM function and across the broader cross-functional organization. This includes close partnerships with marketplace/MPO, Assortment Planning, S&IP,IBP, Location Planning and Finance delivering top down financial business targets. You will also work across MPU to promote consumer demand Nike and optimize overall marketplace inventory health.

What you bring

  • Experience in retail, planning and/or product management
  • Strong ability to influence & work constructively with others by communicating effectively. Listens actively and contributes to advance the conversation.
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail
  • Ability to collate and understand relevant market data that integrates and informs the Merchandise Financial Plan; assessing risk and solving problems to deliver business results
  • Strong command of Retail metrics including Retail Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventories (marketplace + DC), Revenue and Margin with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcome
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3-5 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs
