Global Design Operations partners with Product Design to drive design-specific strategies and priorities. The CMTS Design Excellence team, comprised of Color, Materials, Trend, and Sustainability, sets the mood and vibe for the brand by 
defining uniquely Nike industry-leading creative strategies and directions that impact inline product creation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Senior, Design Operations for Men's Color. As an operations senior, you will be accountable for driving collaborative, innovative, and effective color alignment moments in service of head-to-toe connectivity across Footwear and Apparel.

This role partners with the Men's Operations teams (Design and Business) and Functional Color Design Leaders to define clear and consistent color moment expectations, tools, and processes while also constantly evolving to improve creative collaboration.

The ideal candidate must have impeccable attention to detail, the ability to create and manage complex processes that seamlessly merge creative and merchandising functions, and the capacity to navigate ambiguity.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll be working with CMTS and Men's Design Operations leadership to advance color-specific moments forward, ensure delivery of the right color assets at the appropriate decision point, and understand what the teams need to work more efficiently and effectively in achieving head-to-toe color excellence.

A typical day/week looks like building processes and timelines that support Footwear and Apparel color connectivity, partnering with Men's Business Operations and Design Operations teammates to understand broader Code dates/gates, and protecting color design intent throughout the product creation process.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to and work directly with the Design Operations Director for CMTS Product Design Excellence (Color/Materials/Trend/Sustainability). This role also works with a broad spectrum of cross-functional partners including senior design leaders, designers and design teams, operations peers, Footwear/Apparel Material Development partners and more.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4 - 5 Years work Experience in Product Creation, Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Relevant industry
  • Experience embedding into a cross-functional team
  • Creative mindset and deep understanding of creative processes
  • Experience working with creative teams in a studio/agency environment is preferred
  • Passion for simplified processes + workflows to enable the right work at the right time, creating the appropriate environment for decisions that stick
  • Passion for questioning assumptions and disrupting/improving traditional ways of working
  • Highly collaborative approach, value for synergy
  • Strong communication both written and visual including strong presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and facilitate at the senior leader level
  • Ability to manage complex projects and balance multiple competing priorities in a single workstream
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and driving a team to clarity and results
  • Passionate, curious problem solver
  • Change agent/change management skillset
