The Office of the General Counsel serves to Power & Protect Nike's People, Product, Property, Operations, and Reputation through proactive, offense-minded solutions to deliver the Next%. We're looking for world-class talent to join OGC Operations, a diverse, passionate, and purpose-driven team.

As Value Creation Sr. Manager, we expect the candidate to bring a strategic and analytical mindset to understand both the tangible and intangible value opportunity within the OGC. This role will lead the Value Creation team and will collaborate across the OGC to ensure they are making data-driven decisions to inform strategy and investments.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in informing strategic decisions, providing a basis for evaluating team effectiveness and impact, measuring financial return relative to investment cost, and developing a holistic data strategy. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of builder, operator, influencer, and delivery specialist, as they effectively navigate the matrixed structure of Nike. Building key partnerships, being a self-starter, developing a strong point of view, and gaining consensus across teams will be key to be successful in the role.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Value Creation Sr. Manager, you will partner with OGC Operations colleagues to create the holistic view of progress against strategic initiatives and operational excellence strategies within the OGC. You will coordinate teams and resources needed to deliver clear, concise, and timely insights to various levels of leadership.

Your focus will be to assist in making sure the entire team is clear on goals, expectations, and where the team is headed by excelling in clear and consistent communications. You will manage the annual and recurring business planning processes, working closely with Global Business Planning (GBP) to understand deliverables and timelines and coordinate delivery of these requirements through regular communication across our global team.

You will partner with Leadership to identify their value stories, focusing on the short- and long-range strategic and business planning processes (e.g. target setting, analysis, bench marking, metric reporting and risk tolerance). You will deliver high quality analytics, connect information across multiple teams and sources and deliver concise conclusions and communication to our senior leadership.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report into the Sr. Director of OGC Operations and manage the Value Creation team. You will partner closely with team members and leaders to drive strategic alignment, cross functional collaboration and integrated planning. You will work closely with OGC Operations and OGC teams to implement and execute against integrated plans.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training. Masters preferred.

10 years of proven experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or business/corporate development. Strong analytical and innovative skills for sound decision-making, problem solving and ability to work well under tight business driven deadlines.

Proven strong financial analysis skills; demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial and/or valuation models.

Ability to work independently with large amounts of data, deal with ambiguity, and be organized.

Ability to present point-of-view clearly and influence leaders through presentation, logical reasoning, and scenario alternatives.

Proven experience in executive-facing communications, both written and verbal.

Strong ability to effectively facilitate and manage work across multiple business partners and developing consensus across leaders to influence effective outcomes.

Highly proficient problem solver.

Experience working in a highly matrixed work environment.

Proactive desire to own and facilitate projects and programs forward through measurable process, planning, and team engagement.

Advanced communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring and leadership skills.
