WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an optimistic, curious, style-oriented, analytic, trend-savvy Merchant, ideally with merchandising, buying and/or planning experience that has a deep understanding of the streetwear consumer, competition and the marketplace's ever-changing dynamics.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • Consumer-centric mindset and strong merchandising acumen
  • 8+ years of experience in merchandising and/or product
  • A highly skilled communicator & influencer who can navigate across functions/global/geo/consumer/marketplace
  • Take initiative, proficient information seeking skills, and a drive for results
  • A collaborative partner who can solve complex problems and drive to decision
  • Ability to influence, empower, lead and negotiate across various functions
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasons
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • An experienced people leader with a broad scope of direct reports who inspires excellence through partnership and collaboration, managing and leading through change
  • A leader with a proven track record of growing and developing talent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Keynote, Word and Excel

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As the Senior Manager, Global Jordan Women's Streetwear Apparel Merchant and critical member of the Jordan Merchandising leadership team you will work with across the global Jordan organization to create the portfolio and product assortment strategy that delivers against the financial and business objectives of Jordan Women's Streetwear Apparel. You will work closely with the Global product creation, Consumer Field of Play (CFOP) Men's and Kid's Merchants, brand marketing, demand & supply planning, finance as well as the geography merchandising teams to drive merchandising excellence. As a result, building and maintaining a positive relationship with the Global Jordan Women's Streetwear Consumer Field of Play (CFOP) GM will be critical and you will report to the Senior Global Women's Merchandising Director.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As a Senor Manager, Global Jordan Women's Streetwear, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities as part of the Global Jordan Team that brings the Jordan Streetwear CFOP Strategy, Product Line Plan and Consumer Relevant Assortments to life. You will closely work with a cross-functionally and collaborative team (Product, Design, Brand, Footwear and Geos) to build and manage global line plans, product journeys and seasonal strategies to help the Global Jordan Apparel offering gain market share and take a leadership position in Streetwear apparel globally.

Key accountabilities:

  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver long-term apparel strategies, line and pricing architecture, for Global Jordan Women's Apparel.
  • Create seasonal merchandising strategies, driving alignment on key business drivers, and support global moments.
  • Drive the apparel assortment strategy grounded in financial metrics
  • Analyze and obsess the performance and productivity across the board. Align cross functionally on action plans to ensure progress toward growth strategies and targets.
  • Be the voice of the geographies into the line plan and product creation process through harmonized insights, growth opportunities and market capacity.
  • In partnership with Product co-create profitable and productive seasonal line plans that serve the consumer across the global marketplace.
  • Prepare for and own key seasonal meetings based on Consumer Code.
  • Inspires excellence through partnership and collaboration, managing and leading through change
  • Grows and develops talent within the Merchandising function
