WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the Global Technology Management Office and report to the Senior Director of the Technology Management Office. You will be on a central team that drives business operations, communications, and engagement initiatives across Global Technology. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage with various levels of stakeholders, executive sponsors and teams as well as partners across all of NIKE, Inc. to define, build, and implement organizational operation and engagement strategies. In addition, you will also partner directly with senior leaders in crafting storytelling and communication vehicles, serving as a key thought partner.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Operations and Engagement to join our team. This role is pivotal in strengthening operational efficiency while fostering robust communication channels and engagement mechanisms that impact our Global Technology teammates and NIKE Inc. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional engagement initiatives and operational excellence within a technology organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the relevant or a related field.
  • 4+ years professional experience within a technology organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong influencing skills and the competency to interact with executives and senior management
  • Effective experience building and driving executive storytelling across technology and business
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and engagement strategies
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office - including PowerPoint - and intermediate skills using other software applications to complete and manage tasks, schedules, and projects
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives and a team of individual contributors

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for leading business operations, communications, and engagement initiatives within a large technology organization, working closely with Global Technology leaders, teammates, and strategic partners from across NIKE Inc. to execute cross-functionally. You will:

  • Drive excellence in business operations within Global Technology, implementing cross-functional initiatives focused on increased cross-functional alignment and efficiency
  • Design and execute global, comprehensive communication plans
  • Create executive-level materials focused on technology strategies and deliverables
  • Craft and distribute regular cross-team communications across multiple communication channels
  • Manage All-Team and other events for large, global audiences
  • Develop and implement engagement mechanisms focused on teammate development and Nike culture
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement engagement mechanisms
  • Manage and coach a team of operations and engagement professionals
  • Coordinate resources and teams to meet project objectives
  • Track project progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion
