The Pacific Brand Management Team (across Women's/Men's/Kids) is the marketing function responsible for leading and driving plans that serve the brand and business. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Senior Manager - Brand Marketing, Kids, to join our Pacific Brand Management team. The Nike Pacific Brand Management team exists to create deeper connections with our consumers and innovate our brand for the future. This individual will help us create the future of sport, with a specific focus on the key marketplaces as a community builder and brand accelerator.

As part of our Pacific Brand Marketing team, the Senior Manager-Brand Marketing Kids, will be responsible for managing brand plans and functional excellence within the Pacific offense. This role will build and implement brand plans for our consumer that will not only grow the business, but also create deep, meaningful relationships with our Kid athletes.

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking and curious, can innovate with autonomy, is attune to our ever evolving consumer trends. This role will think deeply about the needs of the Gen Alpha consumers and the Empowering Adults who support Kids in their development through adolescence.

This role specifically will create long-term strategies and seasonal plans to fuel engagement with Kids to help make athlete
dreams real, and it will partner with our x-functional territory teams to create best in class product marketing stories.

In Kids, we drive authenticity through our key Sport dimensions, Running and Football, while crafting the agility needed to serve Kids as they broaden the definition of Sport.

The candidate should have experience in Brand Strategy and Management, entrepreneurial spirit (thrive in high change and test and learn environment), and a strong background in knowing the needs, desires and behaviors of the Kid and Parent consumers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Leading with insights, you will obsess how to make our brand, product, purpose and seasonal messages resonate with our Kid athlete. You will be at the forefront of building our foundational Kids strategy, a full-funnel journey, on their terms.

Partnering with a mix of internal and external stakeholders, you will craft a strategic vision for Kids (with key sport focus), driving the development and implementation of content and experiences both digitally and physically for the consumer. You will manage the seasonal planning process/calendar including leading, contributing, and driving the seasonal plan for the Kid athlete
. You will be responsible for delivering and executing a holistic marketing plan, in line with brand and business strategies and obsessing the consumer journey, thinking digital first and ensuring there is a seamless on-line to off-line journey. At times you will manage global and geo stakeholders to ensure communication and alignment with global strategic accounts across countries is upheld and harnessed.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Your role at Nike will require significant cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external partners and partnerships. You will work within the Brand Marketing team, be part of the Marketing Leadership Team and report to the Senior Marketing Director. You'll work closely with Key strategic partners across Retail, Clubs, Federations and Social and Community Impact, to harmonize and build plans. You'll also be active within the Kids sport communities, building consumer insight and driving connection to our brand. Regularly, you'll work back with the APLA team in the US to share plans, learnings and recaps and collaborate and input on strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • University Degree (e.g. Bachelor's) in Marketing or related field and 5+ years of directly related marketing experience.
  • Leadership vison and mindset, with people management and coaching skills.
  • A digital first mindset and eagerness to continue to push creative and strategic boundaries.
  • A demonstrable connection to Kids Sports - from Running to Football (Soccer) is preferable but other connections will be considered.
  • Experience leading and driving end to end planning & the ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting to leadership teams, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in working cross functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team.
  • Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed.
  • An understanding of the performance, culture, and lifestyle of sport.
