The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $415,400.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll collaborate closely with the Design Director, apparel and graphics directors, and external partners to create a cohesive vision across all categories and deliver creative solutions in line with the NikeSKIMS Design Ethos. Building strong partnerships within the design community and cross-functional teams will be central to your success. You'll foster a culture of collaboration, encouraging your team to explore new ideas and take calculated risks to generate unseen possibilities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking a Senior Director with a passion for innovation and an eye for blending sport with fashion. You should be skilled at driving design vision and strategy while staying hands-on in product development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, navigates diverse personalities with ease, and can bring a partner's vision to life while staying true to our brand identity.


  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
  • 10+ years' experience in a design-related role, including 2 years in a management/leadership role preferred
  • Footwear design experience preferred
  • Passion for the fashion industry, the aesthetic and understanding of the landscape
  • 5 years as a senior or lead designer in a corporate setting or design firm preferred
  • Experience in international markets preferred
  • Drawing, sketching 2D and 3D capability or ability to learn
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Email and Outlook
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and driving design direction across the division, working closely with the Design Director and external partners. You'll lead the design team to execute product concepts that push boundaries and carve out new spaces for the brand. Your focus will be on championing product integrity, innovation, and performance as you oversee key initiatives from concept through execution. You'll be deeply involved in developing design strategies and ensuring excellence through advanced concepts. Additionally, you'll manage presentations and communicate design visions to a variety of audiences, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards and timelines. You'll be a driving force behind bringing strategic innovation into the category, always looking to pioneer new spaces and drive forward-thinking design.
