We're looking for a Sr. Director of Energy Marketing, Global Brand Management, who is responsible for driving integrated marketing for the Energy Field of Play. This person is responsible for managing marketing and relationships on the forefront of youth culture, leading collaboration and building the edges of the brand.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will lead the execution of the global energy marketing vision and strategy, bringing in new consumers and audiences into the brand across all levels. Each day will bring dynamic opportunities that you'll work with your team of brand marketers to solve for. You will obsess how to make our brand, product, purpose and seasonal messages resonate with our target consumer and communities.

Together, with your partners, you will drive the most disruptive marketing for the organization, establish new partnerships and maintaining the health of our existing partners, driving connections with key communities to seed, ignite and scale the love for our brand.

  • Build and deliver disruptive integrated marketing plans for key concepts, stories and partnerships and collaborations.
  • Consistently map & evaluate our partner relationships and partnerships
  • Execute integration plans for key working with Entertainment Marketing and Field of Play partners. (Keep them on-top of mind) across Sport and Streetwear
  • Driving integration with focus on NHBD and SNKRS team to ensure key concepts and stories land with impact and consumer resonance
  • Develop strategic plans for influencer partnerships in collaboration with the brand and product teams. Instill process and clear direction, echoing the Global Influencer Brand Management long term strategy, Influencer portfolio and playbook.
  • Educating teams with humility, passion and a positive attitude relating to industry shifts in marketing and consumer behaviors that ensure we stay on the edge of culture.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experienced Marketer - deep experience leading the integrated end to end marketing offense, visioning upstream concepts and ideas with product, design & EM while turning that vision into direction with downstream functions across global and geo, 1-2 L55 roles in (this is not a entry level L55 role) driving equity with other FOP L55 marketing roles
  • Leadership Maturity - experience leading and growing diverse teams with proven ability to lead thru adversity, change and high pressure scenarios, decisive in decision making, strong communication skills and ensuring calm, steady leadership for our teams and our partners.
  • Disruptive Marketer - bold marketer with experience building long term vision and delivering big ideas / picture thinking that move the brand and consumer forward with a strong understanding of the media landscape across owned, paid and owned driving impact and scale across the globe with the communitas who matter most
  • Consumer, Culture, Community - experience leading teams who move at the pulse of culture with a deep understanding of our muse and key communities we're serving
  • Confidentiality - proven ability to lead work and teams in a highly confidential environment while still driving the process and cross functional collaboration forward - on time, on budget and at brand standards.
  • Seasonal Process - Lead the end to end seasonal process inclusive of the creation seasonal concept map creation, prioritization and cross functional management
  • Geo & City Connection - Regularly drive alignment with Jordan Brand Geo partners in a seasonal and yearly scope.
  • Cross Functional Partnership - Drive alignment with Global Entertainment Marketing - Jordan Brand & Nike
  • Seeding & Product - Develop & execute clear product seeding roadmaps for all concepts & stories that sit within Energy
  • Budget management & forecasting - Own a tier-1 relationship budget - other Functions and Geos (always make sure they can afford the ask)
  • Goal Setting - Ensure goal setting & career plans are prepared & shared in a timely manner
  • Leadership - Build and manage a winning team while being an inspiring & encouraging leader and member of the Energy Marketing team

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role will hard line report to the Global Chief Marketing Officer with a dotted line report into the Global Energy GM and is a key member of both the Global Marketing Leadership Team and Global Energy leadership team for Jordan Brand. The candidate will work closely with the Entertainment Marketing Team as well as cross functionally across diverse cross functional teams to go to market including Jordan/Nike Global and other Global and Geography partner experts across digital marketing, retail marketing, integrated media, brand creative, global and city teams. This is a team sport and will require consistent collaboration, partnership and buy in with critical stakeholder groups in order to effectively lead the consumer offense across the geography.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years experience in marketing, delivering integrated marketing plans and execution
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • 5 years of experience in energy or catalyst marketing & 5 years in a managerial position, in a global environment
  • Demonstrated ability of developing smart end to end marketing plans that create distinction in the marketplace, driving cultural conversation and pushing the brand to new spaces
  • Proven ability to create big ideas that cut thru in the market and inspires their team to do the same
  • Proven ability leading and motivating large, diverse teams who deeply understand the culture and communities we serve
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture-someone who embraces and leads through change and ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including presentation on complex business issues
  • Fluency reading consumer data and crafting measurement and optimization plans
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience managing creative, media, and research agencies
  • Excellent relationship building skills and knows how to influence working teams and key partners
  • Detail oriented. This position requires someone who can build plans, presentations, and keep the team moving cohesively in the right direction.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in digital marketing, content creation, and social media
