Global Partners (GP) is a small but mighty team that works with 28 licensee and distributor partners to drive brand energy and business results across 40+ countries (in Latin America, Central + Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and SEAIA). As a Converse geography, we are proud to provide our partners with top-tier guidance regarding Planning & Analytics, Merchandising, Marketing, Marketplace Management, and Strategy as they manage the Converse brand in their territories.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the GP Digital Team and will collaborate with functional experts on the Merchandising, Marketing, Planning & Analytics, Finance and Retail teams with a goal of driving improvements and elevating key dimensions of our Digital processes. In addition, you will support our Licensed and Distributor Partners in executing key commercial programs as well as driving CX updates to unlock growth opportunities and drive the overall success of our business.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Senior, Digital Seasonal Planning & Experience Specialist, GP that will help drive consistency and growth across Converse Global Partners' Digital portfolio. This role will partner with cross-functional teams such as merchandising and marketing to ensure our international sites are executing and aligned with our brand strategy.The candidate needs to be a self starter who can manage competing priorities while drawing on their experience in Digital CX and commerce. We are looking for candidates who have experience in one or more of the following
- E-commerce Consumer Experience and UI
- Digital Seasonal Execution including site merchandising
- Digital roadmap planning and support
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Consumer experience management;
- Complete converse.com consumer experience site audits across our portfolio and deliver monthly scorecards for each site to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Review scorecards with each Partner monthly / quarterly and align on action plans to improve the sites.
- Partner with owned Geos and Global teams to track, review and share UI updates as well as testing results + best practices.
- Complete pre-launch review and approval of new converse.com sites to confirm consumer experience readiness
- Share supporting research and development of more advanced / future opportunities related to the consumer experience offered by our converse.com sites.
- Seasonal Readiness + Execution - every season, support the preparation and delivery of our seasonal guidance in alignment with merchandising and marketing. This may include special topics including but not limited to seasonal planning, gridwall management, product flows, and guidance on global key stories for the season.
- Digital playbooks - develop and deliver Digital content that shares best practices and fundamental guidelines related to new site launches, managing key moments, and optimizing operations across our .com sites. Align publishing / sharing of content with the GP Digital Excellence Center.
- Review site merchandising execution across sites. Review compliance with seasonal site merch guidance, with a focus on the execution of our global key stories and offerings to target consumers, including checking the stories that are being told and how they are being told.
- Drive management of seasonal Digital Digest. Highlighting new resources, tools and industry news for all digital partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A minimum of 3 years directly revevant experience OR
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- 3+ years of experience in digital/ consumer experience / UI / operations (preferably in an ecommerce environment)
- Experience within the digital retail landscape including consumer experience optimization
- Strong organizational, communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Experience and interest in business operations, including data management and analysis
- Interest in consumer products, especially footwear and apparel + an openness to learn Commercial operations - while managing against 4-season offense
- International experience (e.g., international studies, study abroad, etc.) and/or strong interest in global business is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
- Ability to self-start and prioritize effectively
- Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources
