This role is an opportunity to help Nike Stores transform into a world class retailer by better equipping our Athletes and Store Leadership to effectively serve consumers. Working with global Nike stores, geography leads, and global cross functional partners, you will drive key initiatives into our retail stores. This role requires a person who is an expert at building relationships and aligning across functions and geographies to drive execution. Being organized and methodical, you are also equal parts problem solver, communicator and doer and will tackle multiple initiatives simultaneously that are on different timelines. Success will be measured on the ability to drive adoption, delivery of store capabilities, while also continually improving our processes.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This individual will work on the Trade Excellence and Initiatives team in Global Stores. You will partner with other global Nike stores teams, primarily operations and training as well as cross functional partners such as digital product, HR, technology, marketing and membership to drive initiatives that will drive change and retail excellence in Nike stores through our Nike store Athletes and Leaders. This will require a strong partnership with Geography implementation teams, primarily made up of Retail Operations counterparts.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to play a crucial role in equipping our Athletes and Store leaders to better serve consumers. This role is responsible for collaborating with global store teams and cross functional partners to ensure new programs, technology and retail deliverables are handed over to Geography partners and store teams complete, on-time, and with efficacy.

  • Passion to deliver world class experiences and products to Nike store retail athletes and store leaders
  • 5+ years of project delivery or management experience; consistent track record driving multifaceted global projects from inception to reality delivering business results
  • Training or track record in project or change management methodologies
  • Strong retail acumen and understands retail KPIs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven experience leading discussions and building relationships with colleagues and leaders
  • Ability to present, speak, and story-tell in key meetings with cross-functional and geography partners
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and persuasively move others to action in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The Senior Delivery Manager role partners with Global and Geography teams on a wide variety of store-impacting projects.

  • Influences and manages across all necessary functions, from leaders to domain experts - to drive delivery releases that thorough and complete packaged solutions (design, labor model, processes, policies, training, technology, communication plan etc.) in a manner that geography partners can easily consume and execute in stores
  • Work upstream to determine feasibility in context with existing initiatives landing in stores
  • Assures adherence to project delivery standards and timing as agreed upon by geographies
  • Reviews and ensures a high level of quality and service are maintained
  • Initiates, develops and enforces standards and procedures in support of improved capability
  • Manages projects handoffs and end-to-end integration/execution with Geo Store Operations / Implementation teams
