We're looking for a Director of SAP Platforms & Engineering for Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) in NIKE Tech who will drive enterprise-wide planning and execution of SAP Platform Engineering for all deployments of the SAP S4 Fashion suite of solutions. For success, they will collaborate with stakeholders to architect, define, implement, and maintain the optimal SAP landscape to run NIKE global business.

The SAP Platform Director will lead the coordination and implementation execution of SAP HANA suite (S4/Fashion) at a platform level which will be the new foundations for global and geography-based business processes. The SAP Platform Director will collaborate across teams to ensure the best designed architecture is implemented, with world class processes and procedures, delivering an on time on budget implementation. They will also facilitate and lead the planning and execution of the transition to daily run operations maintaining system performance levels to maintain success daily business operations.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Drive and coordinate SAP Platform engineering activities, ensuring all activities are planned and documented and shared with the right stakeholders through training and communication
  • Lead a team, including direct reports, external partners, and teams outside of direct reporting to implement best in class SAP Platform solutions, change processes, and platform health monitoring through highly automated approaches
  • Build detailed plans for the daily execution sequence including scheduling plans for resources and lead and supervise the day-to-day progress; create dashboards to monitor progress and communicate to all stakeholders
  • Understand the impacts of all high-impact changes being implemented in the S/4 Fashion Solution helping guide both Tech and Business teams in prioritization and ensure the most important things get deployed at the right time
  • Hands-on leadership when executing implementation deliverables, as well as, platform health through daily assessments leading status meetings and coordinating resources
  • Help lead and collaborate with external partners on all deliverables impacting deployment for related SAP platform deliverables including system availability, performance, and overall business volume throughput

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • This role has many partners and customers and you'll be the focal point for ensuring the right processes are in place for communication and all plans are laid out and implemented in a way that supports the needs of all stakeholders.
  • As the SAP Platform Director you will engage with the SEC Program teams including all levels of Leadership on an ongoing and often daily basis.
  • You'll also be directly involved with the peer teams in different parts of the organization to ensure the processes for solving challenges are clear and well understood and there is full transparency as to when Issues will be resolved.
  • Multiple teams outside of the direct org are also in your scope for both planning and execution of platform designs, implementation approaches, timing, and issue/challenge resolution. Establishing and maintaining clear processes is critical ensuring the right level of involvement from all teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field(s) or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training advanced degree preferred
  • At least 8 years of technology leadership experience is required
  • At least 3 years in enterprise tech support leadership is preferred
  • Experience in delivery and support of Tier 1 ERP with a strong SAP technical understanding
  • Strong executive presence and leadership identify; ability to build and lead across functional global and geography-based teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage results through multiple software development and product teams in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • A solid understanding of automated processes including automation implementation experience
  • Experience working with and through offshore teams; ability to manage a complex support backlog with a mix of internal and external resources and partners
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize changing demands effectively while maintaining long-term outcomes and results in a program environment
  • Experience in developing efficient processes to affectively manage platform source code and other platform changes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
