WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Value Creation Principal to join the CPBM Central Operations Portfolio Management team. As a seasoned professional with a unique blend of business acumen, program management expertise, and leadership skills, they will identify, articulate, and track delivery of tangible and non-tangible value within CPBM Operations. They will be a creative problem solver with a passion for delivering results and thrive in our fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in informing strategy and investments, developing operational performance management strategies, and measuring both financial and operational return on investment. This role will build key partnerships, develop a strong point of view, and gain consensus across teams. As a leader, they will mentor cross functional teams on how to implement and manage value creation frameworks. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Value Creation Principal, you will play a key role in driving business outcomes for CPBM Operations by leveraging data and storytelling to drive both operational and strategic decisions. You will leverage your expertise to drive operational performance excellence, while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability across the organization. In addition, you will lead cross-functional teams and partner with Operations Leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that unlock maximum value.

Key Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and execute a comprehensive value creation framework that provides a holistic view of operational performance and value delivery of strategic initiatives

Deliver compelling value stories for strategic investments to ensure prioritized investments unlock maximum value. Through in-depth analysis, you will develop an understanding of business needs and goals, pinpoint areas of opportunity and risk, and build robust business cases that quantify investment potential

Drive operational performance excellence across CPBM Operations to ensure alignment to common goals, provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership and teams, and enable data-driven decisions that drive continuous improvement in operational performance

Create compelling materials that effectively articulate progress and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels, driving alignment and action across the organization

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As a key member of Central Operations within CPBM Operations, you will collaborate with Nike's Functional Operations Teams (Footwear, Apparel, Design, Merchandising), Enabling Operations Teams (Studio Operations, Data Operations, Code Operations), Central Operations team (Portfolio Management, Change Management, and Learning & Development), and Technology partners. Together, you'll drive revolutionary changes in Nike's merchandising and product creation operations, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the company.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training; Master's preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, operational performance management, or business development
  • Proven track record of developing and presenting compelling investment business cases that quantify both tangible and non-tangible return on investment, driving executive buy-in and investment decisions
  • Expertise in designing and implementing operational performance management frameworks that drive business outcomes and process excellence in complex, global organizations
  • Strong analytical and innovative skills for sound decision-making and problem-solving
  • Proven financial analysis skills and ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in executive-facing communications and facilitating cross-functional teams

Experience in product creation a plus
