WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are in search for an experienced strategist to challenge conventional thinking and comfortably lead through ambiguity to bring focus. The Principal, EMEA Strategy will be working within the EMEA Strategy team to define, develop, and drive the future of Nike in EMEA.
The successful candidate will have a track record of leading end-to-end cross-functional strategic topics and projects (including growth strategy, strategy activation) and driving end-to-end strategy planning process. We are looking for an experienced strategist with top tier strategy consulting and industry experience, with and MBA.
This person must have strong communication, influencing and relationship skills, experience as trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, and track record of owning end-to-end strategic projects and collaboration across complex cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with the EMEA Strategy Team to define the future of Nike.
You will be partnering with Executive Leadership Team, and critical business functions (Finance, Planning, Merchandising, etc.) to define strategic choices regarding future growth, strategic priorities, and key enablers, and then partnering to execute the strategy.
You will be a critical thought-partner for the business, whilst leading end-to-end cross-functional strategic project work and the strategic planning process
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The successful candidate will report into Director, Strategy, EMEA. Critical stakeholder groups include Global Strategy, EMEA Strategy, Nike Direct, Nike Marketplace Partners, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising and DSM.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must Haves:
- Experience leading end-to-end complex strategic programs, projects and planning processes, with track record of leading cross-functional teams to drive success
- Proven record of strong influencing skills in complex environments; ability to work with senior stakeholder groups to drive alignment and experience with executive leadership
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and solve these with rigor through an analytical approach that includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, experience presenting to senior management and influencing senior stakeholder groups to drive alignment
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence, managing upward communication to executive leadership teams
- A consumer-centric, strategic visionary, who is comfortable navigating ambiguity to bring focus,
- Strong team-player; collaborative, challenging and caring
Nice-to-Haves:
- MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in Marketplace Strategy development
- Experience in retail, apparel, fashion, footwear or related consumer industries.
