WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking to hire two Principal Business HR positions! One position will serve the Global Footwear & Mens organizations, and the other will serve the Global Apparel & Womens organizations, helping to provide solutions, thought partnerships, and business talent strategies to leaders.

We seek passionate HR leaders to communicate, execute, and deliver critical HR programs, best practices, and people solutions for our Global Product Creation teams. We provide strategic consultation and coaching to corporate leaders on organizational issues that contribute to business and team growth.

Our Business HR partners also serve as key resources for employees by sensing, listening, and providing mentorship. We're searching for HR professionals who thrive in ambiguity, have strong partnership and influencing skills, are flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced organization, and can demonstrate strong communication across all levels of the organization.

You will provide solutions and advocacy for our employees and leaders and implement and deliver key HR programs, practices, and policies to the business, leaders, and employees. Our Business HR Partners provide strategic consultation and coaching to our business leaders on organizational issues that contribute to the business's growth.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will build organizational alignment and capability through the development and/or facilitation of appropriate leader-focused interventions with global, functional, and geo teams (e.g., team effectiveness, organizational design, employee engagement, etc.). You'll also support strategic workforce plans aligned with business strategies and objectives and apply diagnosis skills and core metrics to guide HR COEs in shaping appropriate and innovative HR solutions. You'll provide HR expertise on business strategies and sound business expertise to members of the Global Footwear, Apparel, and Consumer organizations

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In collaboration with Sr. Principal Business HR partners, you'll help build a strong partnership with our Global Apparel, Footwear and Consumer leaders in service of our talent and business strategies. You will also partner with other BHR peers across Nike, Inc. and with our HR communities of expertise to deliver integrated talent strategy.

  • The Principal, Business HR, Global Footwear & Mens position reports to the Sr. Director, BHR, Global Footwear & Mens.
  • The Principal, Business HR, Global Apparel & Womens position reports to the Sr. Director, BHR, Global Apparel & Womens.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Behavioral Sciences or related field and minimum of 8 relevant work experience. Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs.
  • 6+ years' experience across all core consultative and administrative areas of HR, including Organizational Capability and Planning, Talent Management, Compensation, and Total Rewards and Infrastructure.
  • Experience working in a global environment across multiple brands.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across all levels.
  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders to drive an integrated talent strategy.
