WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This position uniquely interacts with many teams within HR and the Americas Retail business. You will work with key stakeholders inclusive of People Solutions, Business HR, COEs, and various business teams. You will report to the Sr. Manager of People Solutions Consulting, Americas Retail.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
People Solutions Consultant II drives the resolution of escalated, complex, and broad inquiries. We are looking for someone with HR generalist expertise, who enjoy collaboration, problem solving, and strategic thinking. As a People Solutions Consultant II, you will help consult across all levels of the organization, leveraging HR's operating model to achieve the strongest results. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and change, as you'll help drive HR's continuous push towards transformation and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training
- 2-5 years of HR experience, in one or more HR disciplines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Nike business
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and working knowledge of HR Information System (e.g. SAP, WorkDay) or ticket management system (e.g. ServiceNow) would be an advantage.
- Growth mindset, flexible and able to provide clarity to complex or ambiguous situations.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
On any given day, you will consult and coach self-service solutions to Firstline teammates and people leaders across all levels of the organization in a high-volume environment. You will utilize a breadth of HR knowledge and experience to deliver services regionally, tailoring delivery to account for unique teammate needs. You will liaise directly with employees and business leadership to resolve individual employee issues and provide strategic guidance. As a People Solution Consultant II, your core responsibilities include:
- Resolve inquiries and transactions with quality and speed through a teammate-centric approach.
- Deliver integrated People Solutions across the Nike business at-scale and run offense on complex support needs. This includes guiding Teammates through more complex matters, delivering training, managing policies, supporting functional HRBPs through HR cycles (e.g. APR, midyear stock-awards, yearend feedback) and delivery of unique local programs as needed.
- Support HR Specialized Services delivery, including resolving moderately complex inquiries and escalating as needed to leaders on the team
- Consult and coach self-service solutions to teammates and people leaders across all levels of the organization
- Support delivery of HR programs, ensuring programs contribute to a compelling employee experience engaging with HR and meet business and local needs
- Utilizes knowledge management and case management systems to address, track and resolve teammate inquiries.
- Guide and coach Teammates and Managers on key moments that matter, including talent and organizational guidance, employee sensing, and compensation consulting
- Coordinate across the team to ensure services are consistently delivered and well-managed
- Manage timely and accurate support regarding employee programs and services, HR policy, process, and procedures within Service Level Agreements
- Contribute to consulting pillar projects by partnering on scope and objectives and executing deliverables.
