The Sport & Society team in Social & Community Impact (SCI) makes reflective and strategic investments through a community lens. We invest to protect the ecosystem of youth sport and all other investments we need to move the world forward through sport.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As Operations Director, you will work with a wide variety of personalities and functional areas of expertise, both internal and external to the organization. This role will work directly with the SCI Finance Director and Youth Sport Research and Innovation Director and sit in the larger SCI Sport & Society team. This role will also work with Office of General Counsel Finance and Operations teams, global SCI, and other enabling functions across the Nike Enterprise.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, or training.
  • 10+ years of progressive, relevant experience in business operations and/or data science
  • Tableau or equivalent dashboard development experience
  • Data modeling experience
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated interest and experience across multiple functions is a plus

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Nike Inc. has a commitment to invest in Future of Youth Sport in communities across the world. As part of this work, the Social & Community Impact team is looking for a Operations Director who will lead and capture SCI's philanthropic grant making operations and data driven opportunities through the end-to-end collection, tracking, and reporting.

  • Your role will lead the SCI Operations team and will collaborate across SCI to ensure they are making data-driven decisions to inform strategy and investments.
  • Your role will be responsible for helping drive this work by planning and managing key strategic achievements, organizing & leading critical decision-making meetings, ensuring integration across workstreams, and driving overall process excellence in tools & data.
  • Your focus will be to collaborate in making sure the entire team is clear on goals, expectations, and where the team is headed by excelling in clear and consistent communications.
  • Additionally, you will partner on the team's processes and tools to assist the team in continuing to evolve its approach to be agile and flexible to best serve the business's needs.
