The Global Olympics and Paralympics team lead's the enterprise strategy and execution for all Summer and Winter Games. This team helps ensure Nike shows up in the most meaningful way possible on the largest stage of Sport. This team works across all functions at Nike and starts years in advance of the Games, partnering with innovation and design, while working all the way through Games conclusion, partnering with the host city and geo.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone to join our Global Olympics and Paralympics team to help achieve the enterprise strategy for the LA28 Games and to help lead end-to-end project management for the Milano-Cortina '26 Games. These moments play a pivotal role in showcasing the best of Nike and serving athletes around the world. This individual contributor will play a pivotal role in partnering across Global functions to align company plans and efforts. An entrepreneurial, problem-solving mentality, an ability to manage through ambiguity and a positive, team-focused attitude, are all critical to this role. Additionally, a strong candidate should have expertise in leading complex, consumer-focused, enterprise-level projects that require multiple points of coordination and cross-functional collaboration. A strong candidate will also have lived experience and extensive knowledge of the Olympics and/or Paralympics.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

The GameOn experience is an opportunity to transition skills and insights from sport and lived experience to the corporate setting. Throughout the 12-month long role, you will receive on-the-job experiences within our Global Olympics and Paralympics team and work with a variety of leaders to build the future of sport.

As Specialist, Global Olympics and Paralympics, you will support the creation and execution of cross-functional workstreams to enable how Nike shows up at the Games. A typical day in this role will be varied, from supporting large x-functional, x-geo alignment sessions , to chasing individual action items, to partnering closely to inform product and merchandising plans.

Examples of project work may include:

  • Project management for Milano Cortina '26, aligning product plans across footwear, apparel and accessories to serve athletes and consumer.


  • Helping to develop the strategy for LA28, helping to craft the future plans for these summer Games by pulling multiple groups together to formulate strategies and subsequently partnering with teammates to execute and achieve those strategies.


  • EasyOn initiative, partnering with innovation, product management and merchandising to create a robust innovation plan for how EasyOn apparel and footwear will be featured at the Games.


  • Projects will focus on serving both elite athletes and everyday athletes/consumers. This unique role will often need to operate independently with minimal direction. A successful candidate will be willing to both roll up their sleeves and get in the details, while also being able to think strategically and partner with multiple leaders.

This is a 12-month experience with relocation assistance. This experience - as well as full-time positions - are located in-person at the NIKE, Inc. World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. Check out this video of our World Headquarters to learn more about life on campus: Nike WHQ Campus Video

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience demonstrated in cross-functional project delivery from strategy to execution.


  • Strong proficiency in business communication and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize through storytelling.


  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse and cross-functional teams, build consensus across multiple partners and influence successful outcomes.


  • Athlete -centric experience, ideally across multiple functions (Strategy, Operations, Innovation, Product Management, Merchandising, Brand Management, etc )


  • A team-first, enthusiastic, positive attitude. Able to maintain grace, a sense of humor, and perspective under pressure. This role will be working with and influencing at all levels.


  • Experience working successfully in a highly matrix work environment is a plus.


  • Experience with the Olympics and/or Paralympics is a plus.


  • Ability to travel 10% of the time, as needed.
