OFFICE ACCOUNTANT
HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will join the Accounting Team, a group of finance professionals dedicated to ensuring smooth and efficient accounting operations. In this role, you will work with internal stakeholders, including buyers, travel expense users and supporting functions, as well as regional specialized teams and external vendors.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who excels in managing financial processes in a matrix environment. A robust background in Account Payable, Travel Expense administration is essential, along with specific experience using vendor management systems and travel expense platforms, which are adept at ensuring compliance with company policies while streamlining processes for efficiency. You are a strong communicator and problem solver who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will bring a proactive mindset, eager to contribute, and comfortable with learning new systems and technologies to support a growing, digitalized accounting function.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accountant role (preferably account payables, general accountant, or travel expense administration) for multinational corporations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; international certifications such as ACCA or CPA are advantageous.
- Proficiency in vendor management & ordering systems, travel expense platforms.
- Strong knowledge of account payable processes, vendor management, and travel expense best practices, proficiency in review and verify supporting documentation, including contracts and invoices.
- Excellent organizational skill, strong attention to details and effective communication abilities are crucial.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a matrixed team structure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software such as SAP is required.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial processes, including Account Payable, Travel Expense management, and Corporate Card administration. You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency while collaborating across teams to improve workflows.
Key tasks include:
- You will be responsible for processing invoices, purchase orders, and payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
- You will manage vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and utilize vendor management and Coupa order system.
- Your duties will also include reviewing employee travel and expense reports through Concur to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Furthermore, you will also manage corporate card programs, which encompasses handling documentation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- You will maintain organized financial records and assist with audits.
- Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the finance team on various cross-functional projects and initiatives for improvement.
