WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You'll partner with several cross-functional teams - FOP Sport team : Consumer GM, Planning & Marketing, Global product and merchandising, Marketplace and Nike Direct Merchandising and consumer insights & analytics. A key enabler of your success will be your background and experience in retail & merchandising.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for curious, energetic, and coachable merchants who have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. You have shown a passion to learn, make mistakes, and grow. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and excited to take on new concepts and ideas.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training [DO NOT CHANGE]
  • 2+ years' experience in Footwear, Apparel, Equipment, or relevant consumer product merchandising, product creation and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment
  • Strong understanding of common retail and/or digital metrics such as sell-through, margin, full price realization, weeks of supply, etc.
  • Great teammate and contributor, with the curiosity and excitement to learn new things
  • Strong communication skills and comfort navigating a cross-functional matrix with an emphasis on influencing skills
  • Attention to detail, understanding the importance of consistency

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will help build consumer-centric assortment plans, working closely with teams across many areas of the organization such as: Planning, Allocation, Marketing, and Global Merchandising. You will also closely collaborate with Nike Direct and Marketplace Partners during seasonal reviews and help build seasonal assortments across Men's, Women's, and Kids Footwear + Apparel. You will be required to balance multiple seasons. Providing insights and data that will contribute to future seasonal plans and adoption in partnership within Global Merchandising. You will manage your areas of assortment planning in depth during the seasonal process and help support the team during these gates.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Voice of the consumer- Be a consumer, product and merchandising expert.
  • Partner with global on NA seasonal product needs. Provide GEO insight & deliver long term product line planning.
  • Preparing seasonal tools to equip your marketplace partners with an understanding of seasonal priorities
  • Set GEO strategic intent of key products, pricing, flow
  • Drive franchise health across the portfolio.
