Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Merchant II, Energy - NBHD, Jordan EMEA. In this role you will be responsible for building X-PE Product Assortments that deliver on short- and long-term goals for the Brand and the NBHD marketplace in EMEA.

You will build a future vision aligned to Jordan's strategic priorities within the relevant field of plays and aligned with the partner account plans.

This role is account facing and will require a good understanding of the NBHD culture to build relationship with Key Stakeholders both internally and externally to drive our plans forward.

In short, we seek out for a strong and inspirational professional, with the ability to drive and communicate a clear strategic vision and drive the vision forward profitably.

What you will work on

You will craft and deliver long term Merchandising plans in line with the brand strategy and translate these strategies into consumer right assortments on a seasonal basis that deliver and exceed our business expectations.

Together with the x-functional team, you will drive strong hind-sighting and competition intel to provide insights, which will support future seasons.

Who you will work with

This role will report into Director Merchandising NMP, Jordan EMEA.

You will work with the Marketplace Merchandising Team on a day-to-day basis, driving GTM excellence via consumer code. Your key stakeholders include the Marketplace team, Consumer Merchants NBHD & Streetwear and the x-functional partners within the Jordan Brand and the MPU (Marketplace, Brand, Planning, Operations).

What you bring

  • Prior experience in (retail) merchandising demonstrating a high level of product, retail, and merchandising competence, coupled with a strong understanding of the NBHD marketplace.
  • A clear understanding of the EMEA NBHD consumer and EMEA NBHD marketplace.
  • Communicate vision and purpose - you are responsible for driving strategy short and long term and have inspirational storytelling skills.
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding of product and NBHD culture, coupled with business orientation, analytical mentality.
  • A desire to simplify and an ability to translate complex strategies into simple and concrete plans
  • Ability to work with peers, cross functional partners, senior management, and external partners on all aspects of the business within a complex matrix organizational set-up.
  • Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines with competing priorities.
