WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Global Technology, Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA), LatAm Territory Leadership team and report to the Director, Technology, LatAm. You will lead a team of business system analysts, data analysts and program managers in Mexico. You will have close partnership with LatAm business partners, the LatAm technology technical operations team and Geo & Global business and technology partners. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage with various stakeholders, ensuring you remain connected and attuned to the needs of the business.

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent of 10+ years of relevant experience required

  • 10 + years professional experience in technology related field. Possess experience with Digital eCommerce, Retail and supply chain technology products and experiences.


  • Proven experience leading, managing and mentoring technology teams.


  • Experience leading technology projects/programs, including the last mile delivery of global solutions into regional marketplaces.
  • Proficient in technology project portfolio management, inclusive of managing program and operational budgets and resource allocation for technology initiatives.
  • Experience documenting business requirements for technology solutions.
  • Experience closely interfacing with technical operations teams, support service providers, and support organizations.


  • Strong leadership & influencing skills with the ability to interact with cross functional stakeholders including senior management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; both English and Spanish required.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented matrixed environment


  • Must be authorized to work in Mexico.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for leading a team to deliver technology solutions into the Latin America marketplace, ensuring local requirements are met. You will partner with the on ground technical operations support to provide subject matter expertise in incident resolution and elevation of key problems requiring prioritization. The role requires:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Systems Analysts, Data Analysts and Program Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and professional growth.
  • Functional planning: Support the delivery of key strategic initiatives, functional alignment and planning, and technical asks, as well as ability to translate them to be communicated to different critical stakeholder audiences.
  • Mastering Cross-functional Expertise: Broad technical expertise across multiple functional tech domains allowing you to communicate, influence and build relationships across teams and leadership
  • Program & Portfolio Management: Manage the LatAm Technology portfolio of investment and operational initiatives. Manage capacity against demand and ensuring effective workforce planning. Financial planning and budget management.
  • Communications & Stakeholder Management: Ongoing communications with all levels of the Latin America, geography and global business and technology organization including communicating technology vision and purpose, communicating technology priorities in line with business strategies and plans, and technology operational performance

Key Responsibilities for you and the team you will lead:

Lead Local Programs & Last Mile Delivery of Global Solutions: Lead the last mile delivery of global solutions into the LatAm marketplace, ensuring local nuances are met. Lead/participate in user acceptance testing (UAT). Oversee and execute local programs, including hardware refreshes, retail door openings, and modernization and simplification initiatives.

Portfolio and Project/Program Management: Oversee the LATAM project portfolio, ensuring alignment with both local and global business priorities. Track and report on milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful outcomes. Manage dependencies and risks, proactively addressing potential challenges. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on portfolio progress and operational initiatives.

Budget and Resource Management: Manage the LATAM technology operational budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet priorities.

Technical Support Partnership: Partner closely with the LatAm Technology Technical Operations team who are responsible for the on the ground support for retail stores, the distribution center, digital platform, and performance bar. Provide input on issue resolution and prioritization of system improvements. Support production incidents as a business liaison, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

Business Systems Analysis: Build and maintain subject matter expertise & documentation on software and data solutions leveraged by the LatAm business, distributor partners and consumers. Identify, document and communicate market specific requirements for input into solution delivery by Global product and engineering teams.

Business and Technical Alignment: Bridge the gap between LATAM marketplace business teams and technical teams.
