WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Design Manager to utilize their exceptional design, leadership, and creative problem solving skills to create and execute the future of Jordan Streetwear. The candidate needs to have a passion for mentoring and directing designers, as well as serving the needs of our women's consumer. To be considered, work samples must be included in the application.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will drive Womens Streetwear Apparel Design, executing the overarching creative direction by creating best-in-class apparel. You will partner with the Mens Senior Manager to run product design processes to ensure results are met, as well as actively seek opportunities to drive efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional partners to ensure aesthetic feasibility while meeting price points, business needs, and product creation requirements.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The role of design within the Nike matrix is a blend of art and science, propelling the creative vision forward while ensuring consumer needs are met. The manager will report directly to the Design Director of Streetwear Apparel, and will manage one designer. Additionally, they will partner internally and cross-functionally with Mens Streetwear Apparel Design, Graphics + Color Design, Apparel Design Excellence, Product Line Management, and Product + Materials Development
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design OR an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training in related field
- 5 years or more of relevant work experience
- Experience in streetwear or fashion preferred. High taste level required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
- Strong ability to apply and perform design skills such as: drawing/sketching, ideation, digital product creation and visual presentation development.
- Strong knowledge of streetwear culture, current trends, and design
- Strong knowledge of pattern making, draping, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing
