WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be part of a fast paced and motivated Maintenance Department with a strong customer-based mentality. A team equipped with a diverse skill set, routinely utilizing creativity and problem-solving skills to provide support to all departments withing a Distributions Facility. Driven to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum and facility upkeep is kept to the highest standards.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Candidate must be familiar with standard shop practices, be skilled in the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and the required PPE. Must be familiar with common safety protocols in a warehouse environment such as Hot Work, LOTO, WHMIS, Ladder Safety, Bloodborne Pathogens. Must be certified in MEWP along with specific experience operating single walkie, scissor and boom lifts and be able to perform regular battery changes on a variety of PMVs. A minimum of 2 years' experience working as part of a maintenance team in a warehouse environment. Candidates with working knowledge of automatic Print and Apply equipment, Fox Gantry Wrappers, Drop Tray Sortation System and MDR/Belt conveyors is heavily preferred.

  • Capable of repetitive motions and able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule up to and including weekends, weekdays and all three existing shifts.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues and general understanding of automation equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience working with Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to receive and communication the completion of assigned tasks.

Available shift :

  • Mid night- 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST (Sun to Thu)

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will be required to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the conveyors, HVAC, fire protection, material handling equipment. Balance a variety of shifting work priorities to execute unplanned work to address break downs and support operations. Collaborate with all departments on special projects. Communicate with department leads and key stake holders regularly to ensure high quality customer service.

  • Manage stock replenishment for operational supplies.
  • Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner to meet establish due dates and targets for Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure spare part inventory levels are monitored and maintained on CMMS to ensure critical inventory is replenished as needed service critical operation equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Preform a wide variety of building maintenance repairs including but not restricted to racking repairs, addressing roof leaks, basic dock door repairs, renovation projects, painting, lot maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all conveyor equipment, pallet wrappers, tape machines and automatic Print and Apply units.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment including but not limited to proper housekeeping and regular upkeep of facility equipment.
