WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Lead, Program Manager for TA Experiences will support the strategy, driving planning, and execution of external branded recruitment events, brand experiences, conferences and sponsorships in alignment with Nike and TA priorities. This individual will be on the Talent Brand & Experiences team in the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA COE), partnering across teams to ensure alignment to the event strategy and evolve Nike TA's best practices and planning process.

This team member will project manage initiatives with several cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, while delivering an immerse experiences to large audiences and prospective talent.

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of event management experience, including experience with hybrid event formats (in-person and virtual).
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive environments, and experience with partnering with DEI focused teams and Employee Resource Groups and for values driven commitments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and devise innovative solutions.
  • Experience with event management software, virtual event platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets and delivering events within financial constraints.
  • Flexible travel (weekends and evenings included).

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including key planning partners, senior leaders, speakers, sponsors, and vendors. Continue to foster closer partnerships through efficient and connected ways of working.


  • Event Design: Create experiences for all event stakeholders based on their priorities, goals, and constraints. Design the experience end-to-end accounting for these objectives and embedding touchpoints to the brand and experience throughout.


  • Event Planning: Formulate concepts that demonstrate consistencies in our best practices and internal operations yet deliver unique experiences for our attendees and prospective talent.


  • Event Project Management: Partner closely with our delivery teams to manage event preparation, end-to-end event logistics, and retrospectives. This individual would not only ensure flawless delivery of both in-person and virtual engagements but also evolve our delivery practices through technology and tool optimization.


  • Budget Management: Create, manage, and report on event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.


  • Metrics & Reporting: Collect qualitative and quantitative insights from every event and conduct retrospectives to recognize win and identify opportunities to iterate and evolve.


  • Branding & Communications: Work closely with peers in Talent Brand and Communications teams to ensure all experiences have engaging, EVP grounded storytelling, and are effectively attracting, engaging and converting key talent.
