WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Lead Program Manager will deliver Converse Technology's most critical programs on time and budget. They will need to understand our stakeholder requirements and collaborate with technical product managers to build out and manage program plans. The Lead Program Manager will be a part of the PMO team and help set delivery standards for the technology organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Lead Program Engineer has deep experience leading technical programs in mid-size to large organizations. They can organize stakeholders across the enterprise to achieve a common goal and effectively manage schedules, risks and dependencies across teams.

The Lead Program Manager has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to mentor, coordinate, and guide teams while collaborating with both business and technical audiences. They can work across our technical landscape and quickly learn and understand how systems are integrated and work with each other. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organizational environment, with globally distributed and diverse teams, excelling in team-oriented roles that rely on the ability to collaborate with others. The Lead Program Manager is self-directed, comfortable working in ambiguous environments, and capable of building positive relationships across Converse while influencing decisions and changes across teams.

  • This position is open to a remote work option; candidates must reside in the greater Atlanta metro area.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience
  • 5+ Years as a program manager in a technology organization at a mid-size to large organization.
  • Ability to develop programs and deliver them with financial and resource constraints.
  • Experience with at least one major project/program management methodology.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and best practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy.
  • A high level of empathy and the ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of different personalities.
  • Strong business acumen, including industry- and domain-specific knowledge of the organization and its business units. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As a Lead Program Manager, you will work on the most complex and important programs Converse Technology is delivering. You will lead projects across all technology domains that involve a varied set of applications and build standards for how our organization delivers work.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale programs across functions geographies, and technologies, ensuring alignment with Converse's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the PMO and Scrum Leads to build and maintain program management process, tools, and templates.
