WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Nike's People Analytics and Insights organization is responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike's workforce through data and analytics and applying those insights to inform the development, evolution, and transformation of our workforce. Using data ranging from qualitative to quantitative, across all facets of HR, grounded in strategy and business context, our team connects the science and art of Nike to the hearts and minds of our teams around the world.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a team member to accelerate our People Analytics Business Partner team in support of HR and Business Leader priorities. You will play a key role in creating executive deliverables, which may include key moments and questions to run the business, and bringing Talent research insights to life to better serve Nike teammates and organization.

At a high level, you will be responsible for translating business questions into key requirements that can be tested with data and research, partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to integrate context and insights, and creating compelling narratives and executive slides to answer key strategic questions and moments for executive leaders.

You are comfortable with ambiguity, adapt with agility to key inputs, and enjoy making sense of complex data, collaborating with cross-functional teammates, and creating a clear and meaningful storyline that is grounded in business context.

Keys to success include a background in People Analytics and a strong understanding of the impact of data in driving strategy and decision making. This position requires curiosity and an analytical mindset to understand root causes from multiple angles and perspectives. We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a self-starter environment and is excited by the challenge of making sense of complex data to identify opportunities and improve the employee experience at NIKE (engagement, retention, Talent practices, productivity, etc.). You ask questions, simplify, drive clarity, communicate effectively, and are continually learning, as well as finding opportunities to share knowledge with others. WHAT YOU BRING

  • Masters degree or equivalent in social science, I/O psychology, or related quantitative field with 6+ years of experience in analytics, data visualization, storytelling, and consulting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One of the following alternatives may be accepted: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in analytics, visualization, storytelling, and consulting, ideally with an emphasis on HR or Talent analytics (including Talent Acquisition or Workforce Planning)
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint and other data analysis tools
  • High business acumen, with an affinity for data exploration, analysis, and working with business intelligence tools and making sense of imperfect data
  • Strong critical thinking, data deep dives and statistical analyses, data storytelling and presentation development skills
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal), PowerPoint presentation development and delivery for executive audiences, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve, adapt with agility, and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and an integrator

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business context, translate leadership questions into key requirements, integrate insights, and create a clear storyline
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of teammates and stakeholders across People Analytics, Talent, DE&I, and Business HR.
  • Drive clarity through ambiguity, work proactively and autonomously to explore data, test hypotheses from multiple angles, and determine root causes.
  • Simplify complexity, identify clear opportunities to improve the employee experience at Nike, and develop compelling narratives and executive slides
