WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role reports to the Director, Enterprise Partner Management. They will interact closely with key functional partners in Materials Manufacturing, Development, T2 Partner Management, Sustainability, as well as other teams within the Materials Supply Chain (MatSC) team. This role is the main point of connection between Nike and the Partner.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As Manager, Partner Strategy, you drive strategic priorities with our biggest Sock Yarn Partners. You will assess and evaluate their capabilities and drive sustained performance that will drive profitability and sustainable growth. You will build strong relationships with key yarn partners externally, and internally across the Apparel & Accessories Product Engine functions, influencing key decisions and opportunities. In conjunction with the Director, Enterprise Partner Management, you will ensure that the Partners enable, drive and deliver on Nike's supply chain strategy and consumer expectations.

Results-oriented and strategic, you thrive in a cross-functional environment, wearing different hats pending the topic or issue at hand. You have knowledge of manufacturing/supply chain, are comfortable engaging with different partner groups, and can leverage strong partnerships. This role is perfect for a team-player with drive, curiosity, vision, and exceptional communication skills. You represent Nike Materials Supply Chain and know how to rise above the day-to-day to support and drive meaningful strategies, remediate risk, and ensure sustained results.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • 6+ years relevant materials work experience (supply chain, product, or manufacturing)
  • Specific knowledge and experience in Yarn manufacturing and supply chain is preferred; apparel/accessories experience is a plus
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate goals and objectives
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to effortlessly navigate ambiguity and articulate a clear point of view
  • Proficient project manager & problem solver
  • You are comfortable engaging with different partner groups, tailoring your messages accordingly and building strong partnerships
  • Ability to travel 20%

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • In partnership with your Manager, Director, Enterprise Partner Management, you will drive Partner strategies across the organization. You will track risk mitigation plans and performance against execution to further enable Nike's growth.
  • Your typical day/week will include a variety of meetings with your external partners, the internal team and other cross-functional partners. You will focus on executing against the goals and plans created for your partners.
  • You will act as a subject matter expert in the sock yarn space and be a part of relevant special projects/key initiatives that impact Sourcing & Manufacturing, Product Creation/Innovation, and Sustainability.
  • You will prepare necessary tools, visuals, and analytics to deliver concise communication and a clear plan to stakeholders.
