PLEASE NOTE: This is a Full-Time On-site position (Mondays to Thursdays in the office/Fridays from Home Office) based out of our Downtown Toronto HQ.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Retail Brand Marketing leader who can help us develop and drive retail brand marketing strategies for our 3PW partner(s) across the Canadian marketplace. We desire a creative, people-first leader and teammate who will obsess the consumer journey within retail experiences and seasonal concepts. These candidates are motivated to build engaging innovations stories and experiences to ultimately create demand and impact across the marketplace. This individual will immerse themselves in the business and constantly be looking for opportunities to evolve / improve the way we tell our product stories, all in an effort to connect with consumers and drive sales.
The ideal candidate loves working in a face-paced, ever-evolving, positive and collaborative team environment. They're a self-starter who thrives working through ambiguity and enjoys leading new and innovative approaches for their team.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will collaborate with teammates across Nike and our 3PW portfolio to engage consumers in distinctive, memorable ways that move them to action in their retail journey.

You will be responsible for understanding both the art and science of retail marketing; obsessing the business, consumer insights and the creative ways we tell our product stories.

You will partner closely with cross functional teams to assist in building the wholistic seasonal brand plan across concepts and ensure that the Brand is properly represented.

Lead the overall development and execution of seasonal /monthly initiatives, sports moments and premium retail experiences (online and off-line).

As a Partner Marketing Lead, you will:

  • Help deliver experiences that serve consumers through multiple retail touch points, including:
    • Brick & Mortar executions
    • Digital and social media
    • Consumer Experiences
    • Influencer and Athlete partnerships
  • Enhance the impact of our retail executions based on athlete* insights and behaviours
  • Manage and route creative output through processes and checkpoints, across multiple partner business units and banners
  • Leverage campaign insight and performance data to inform future marketing initiatives season-after- season

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As the Partner Marketing Leader, you will report directly into Canada's Brand and Marketing Director. You will collaborate with our cross functional teammates and NA counterparts, both internal and external partners.

WHAT YOU WIL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Art (PREFERRED) or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 + years of direct relevant marketing experience (building and implementing strategies)
  • Large Fleet, vertical retail and store opening experience

Required:

  • A strong understanding of the marketplace, shopping behaviours, retail journeys and retail trends
  • A passion for product and storytelling
  • A track record of implementing a test and learn offense
  • The ability to embrace change and the ever-evolving marketplace needs
  • Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Pro-active problem solver, with an ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
  • An impeccable ability for balancing creativity with business needs, inspired by the "now and next" and keeping the consumer at the centre of the work
