WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report in the Color & Material Manufacturing Team within Product Integrity. This role will collaborate with our stakeholders, including but not limited to Material Supply Chain, Product Development, Manufacturing System Engineering, Material Vendors, and Factories.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
NIKE, Inc.'s Product Integrity organization aims to establish a robust color and material manufacturing quality management system to ensure that material performance and aesthetics consistently meet the demands of Nike Athletes*.
As a Materials Quality Manufacturing Lead, you will drive the development and integration of the materials and color quality manufacturing strategy and operating model across Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, and the Nike supplier base. You will maintain close connections with processes and partners across multiple business units, product engines, and functions. Building strong partnerships with external partners and driving them to elevate their manufacturing quality capabilities to meet Nike's expectations is essential.

You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience
- Minimum of a minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
- Knowledge of yarn and textile manufacturing, dyeing, finishing, printing, testing, and industry material trends.
- Strong technical materials knowledge, including fibers, yarns, knits, woven, print techniques, and their manufacturing processes, plus materials testing/inspection procedures and specific knowledge and experience in digital color and familiarity with digital tool operation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with numbers and trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong project and time management skills; commitment to delivering results on time.
- Ability to work independently, proactive, self-motivated, with a positive work attitude, attention to detail, organized, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable engaging with both external partners and internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, and building strong partnerships.
- Proficiency in using computers for reporting, research, and communication. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is important. Familiar with Smartsheet, Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
- Experienced in leading and inspiring a team is preferred.
- Occasional traveling is required.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Provide material quality expertise to category teams and suppliers to ensure potential risks are identified and mitigated at the design stage, offering input based on quality data analyses, supplier capabilities, and performance history.
Review manufacturing plans to ensure that manufacturing processes consistently meet specification and tolerance requirements.
Support suppliers and PMOs as necessary for new supplier evaluations and supplier visits for training, problem-solving, corrective actions, and follow-up.
Apply technical knowledge and skills in materials development and production manufacturing to conduct comprehensive assessments and analyses of end-to-end materials; determine foundational competencies across production quality operations.
Manage issues, perform root cause analysis, resolve issues, execute and oversee improvement actions, and communicate with internal and external partners.
