WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We need an experienced, hard-working Material Handler Lead to join our AIR MI team! You are a natural born leader with strong hands-on warehouse experience, drive and curiosity. Your experience helps you prioritize and overcome blockers and guide the work of others on your team. You thrive in a dynamic, ambitious environment, and are excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Material Handler Lead, you will plan, coordinate, and participate in the warehouse operations of the Shipping and receiving department. You will ensure employees are properly fulfilling their job duties every single day while helping with any needs for the department. Other job tasks will include processing and issuing raw material to, loading and unloading trucks, completing shipping documentation, scheduling pickups and confirming orders in an integrated computer system.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Your will coach, direct, mentor and ensure material handlers are following the SWI (Standard Work Instruction). You also will actively connect with the supervisors, production, and your teammates on any issues or opportunities that may arise.
Available Shifts:
Night 2: Friday/Saturday/Sunday and every other Monday - 5:30 pm - 5:30 am
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience within a manufacturing warehouse or similar environment
- Forklift experience
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to bend and stand during entire shift
- Basic knowledge of entering and verifying information using a computer system
