WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The candidate will report to the EMEA Brand Director Jordan Sport & Purpose and partner with: Fields of Play, Global Brand Marketing/Comms/Purpose, City Marketing, Nike Social Community Impact, Insights, Brand Creative, digital Marketing, Product Merchandising, Sport Marketing, Planning, Stores & Partners Marketing.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has a passion for sport, a curiosity for our young consumer, a connection to/understanding of EMEA basketball and streetwear culture and an ability to uncover stories that will inspire the next generation. A skilled professional to join the EMEA Jordan Brand team and lead the Purpose Portfolio. The role will work across a number of internal and external partners with different perspectives and backgrounds to drive our grant portfolio. The candidate should have experience across Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and delivering Community Impact. A talent who embodies the values that our company holds dear, and one willing to adapt on the fly, all while maintaining a growth mindset.

A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements to be considered.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in corporate responsibility and social impact with depth of knowledge and network in D,E&I, sport for development and Communities.
  • Relevant experience in high level stakeholder management experience across a few of the following sectors: government, NGO, diversity, equity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility, social sustainability, education, sport/physical activity, and youth development.
  • Experience with project management, managing grant giving portfolio's and delivering results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proven experience setting vision and strategies and delivering results for diverse and complex environments.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-team and cross-culture collaboration.
  • Experience of working with leadership and team leads to help ensure strategy and execution alignment, and drive decision making
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience of measurement and evaluation frameworks and ability to measure, interpret and communicate quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Ability to meet all travel requirements for the position.
  • Problem solver with Enterprise Thinking and a proven ability to collaborate, drive and deliver results.
  • An absolute self-starter, high interest in operating in collaborative autonomy and you can demonstrate where and how you have taken initiative to get work done on your own and as a part of a team.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As a Purpose Manager for Jordan Brand EMEA, you will be responsible for extending global Purpose initiatives and originating new hyperlocal initiatives across EMEA key cities. This role will be responsible for driving our Jordan Purpose point of view on the ground in EMEA. Our EMEA Purpose offense is inclusive of our social impact investments such as Jordan Wings in Paris, Jordan Brand's Black Community Commitment in the United Kingdom, and Community Basketball partners across EMEA.

Strategy Development

  • Lead development for Jordan EMEA's Purpose strategy
  • In partnership with the Jordan Insights team, drive researching and scoping local context to determine the strategic focus for Jordan Purpose in our key cities of Paris, London (and EHQ on an ad hoc basis).
  • Partner with Global Jordan SCI & BCC Director and Global Purpose team to ensure EMEA alignment with the global Purpose strategy. Be part of the global Purpose team to share learning and best practice.
  • Partner with the EMEA D,E&I SR Director to ensure the Jordan Purpose Portfolio is integrated into the overall D,E&I strategy in EMEA
  • Partner closely with the EMEA SCI team and SCI City leads to ensure alignment across Nike Inc's Global, GEO and City strategies and with the Purpose Impact Targets.

Program management

  • Responsible for the process, decision making and execution of all Jordan EMEA grants.
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships with grantee organizations.
  • Responsible for all legal, due diligence, impact reporting and program/partnership management of grantees, in partnership with the EMEA Social Community Impact team (SCI).

Purpose marketing integration / alignment

  • Partner with EMEA Jordan Marketing to provide visibility to the Jordan Purpose Portfolio that will support Purpose Marketing D,E&I moments across EMEA and amplify our investments through storytelling and athlete engagement.
  • Partner with EMEA Purpose Communications on internal and external communications roadmap to amplify the impact of the investments and provide visibility to our employees, stakeholders and consumers.
