Nike Digital Marketing exists to serve the athlete at the pace of culture in the spaces that matter most to them. The Digital Marketing offense delivers disruptive digital strategies to maximize brand concepts.

As part of Global Digital Marketing, the Global Social Media team is shaping the strategic vision and implementation across all organic social media platforms. As social media becomes increasingly complex, Nike Global Social Media is responsible for understanding the landscape, standing out and deepening the connection of our brand with consumers.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Global Social Media is responsible for the co-creation, planning, programming, creative standards and publishing of all global-level channels. In the growing complexity of the Nike ecosystem, our key cities, licensees and marketplace partners also drive consumer love outside our global channel. Bringing together the art + science of comarketing helps deliver a unified consumer experience that is aligned to brand and business goals.

The Lead, Social Media Marketing Integration and Capabilities is responsible for industrializing Nike priorities in the city and partner ecosystem in a partner forward, while also scaling Nike's digital brand, allowing us to inspire every athlete to do, watch, and connect with sport. This role is a strategic thought partner and operational excellence role that works with our key geo and business partners to deliver social excellence on their channels.

The ideal candidate will need:

:: Strong Relationship Management. Finding the win-win and being solution oriented to help our partner social teams deliver value for our brand and their business.

:: Eye for Details. Making sure the Is are dotted and Ts are crossed to maintain Nike platform governance.

:: Social media excellence. Strong understanding of social media platforms, their content requirements and unique functionality (how to make for each platform, not just copy/paste across all channels).
:: Cultural Leader. Help foster a strong team identity, built on collaboration, a shared vision of success and a strong work ethic.

You obsess the latest trends in social media and creators, and are able to overlay consumer need to create industry leading solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will be working with Brand Creative, Brand and Digital Brand teams to shape creator content experiences on creator and Nike channels within social media. You are responsible for collaborating across teams to identify creators, brief them, and distribute content on Nike and creator channels.

A typical day/week looks like

  • Partner with Key Cities and Licensees to serve strategy thought partner and operational key keeper
  • Communicate governance, social brand standards and creator brand standards to licensees and other partners to ensure Nike voice is premium and elevated wherever it appears on social.
  • Ensure Key cities and licensee partners have the operational frameworks and tools to achieve success
  • Collaborate with retail marketing to write partner creator toolkits to support seasonal priorities.
  • Support athlete and sport moments where appropriate.
  • Meet with Consumer Services, and platform teams to ensure licensees and nike ecosystems drive brand synergy

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will sit in the Global Social Team, reporting to the Director of Creator Programs. This works with creators and partners team within digital brand works to drive brand growth and scale evergreen storytelling through social content creation. You also work with media and operations teams to help onboard and troubleshoot partner onboardings within Nike social ecosystem.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of experience working on a social or marketing partnership team; at a retailer or at a social agency, ideally across paid, owned, shared and earned content
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • Proven experience working on end-to-end social marketing activations including paid media activation, building strategic and operational frameworks, and mental models for what good looks like.
  • Proven experience working with creative teams on digital and social platforms (examples of projects encouraged)
  • Interest in sport x youth x culture
  • Comfortable in managing ever-changing platform landscape while providing clear POV's and willingness to align / educate / compromise with stakeholders
  • Experience working and managing teams and partner within Project Management Tools (AirTable, Asana, etc), and working various platform business managers (such Meta).
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills including strong presentation skills
