WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Reporting to the Director of Investigations Services and Support, this role will support forensic services for the Investigations, CIS and Legal teams at Nike. This role will conduct forensic examinations that contribute evidence to the investigations led by Legal, Employee Relations, Loss Prevention and the Global Investigations team. They will also create, develop and maintain strong business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will work closely with the Global investigations team, Insider Threat Team, Litigation Team and all other Investigative teams across Nike to provide Forensic Investigations expertise. Additionally, you will support the physical collection of devices as part of the ediscovery process managed by our Litigation team. You will provide objective and impartial findings, ensuring confidentiality at all levels. You will conduct yourself with the highest level of integrity. The focus will be on the following core activities:

  • Efficiently manage forensic investigations through assignment, research and resolution while managing investigations log for timely case closure.
  • Document investigative work to include all relevant and factual details utilizing the current case management system and digital evidence management system.
  • Provide forensic services to Internal Investigations teams and other Nike stakeholders upon request.
  • Contribute to ensure the successful implementation of newly established roles of Investigations, Service and Support.
  • Effectively utilize business partners to include ER, HR and Legal to insulate Nike from negative exposure.
  • Innovate to Protect Profit by executing established investigative best practices to minimize fraud or intellectual property exposure for the company
  • Lean on the special skills, capabilities, and experience within our team to build quality cases.
  • Develop strong partnerships across Nike to ensure continued success and expansion of the Forensic Lab.
  • Other duties or project work as assigned needed by the team or business

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

On investigative matters, you will partner with Nike's Insider Threat Operations, CIS, Legal, Loss Prevention, HR, People Solutions, ER and Global Investgations. You will also partner with other internal teams as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Six years of professional work experience conducting forensic investigations preferred
  • Corporate and global professional work experience
  • Experience with intellectual property investigations preferred
  • Working knowledge of technologies in the forensic investigations industry a plus
  • Working knowledge of Nuix, Blacklight, Cellebrite, MacQuisition, Sumuri, Axiom or similar Forensic tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of criminal and employment legal standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical problem solver, with ability to break down and simplify ambiguous problems into executable milestones and actions
  • Excellent work ethis, strong time management skills and ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • Formal Investigative Interviewing experience a plus.
  • Ability to respond to time sensitive issues that occur at night or on weekends
