LEAD CHANGE MANAGER

GRADE 40, CHANGE MANAGEMENT, GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the Global Technology Management Office and report to the Director of Change Management for Global Technology. You will be on a team that supports the Data & Artificial Intelligence team on an enterprise data initiative in both technical and business teams. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage with various levels of stakeholders, executive sponsors and teams as well as strategic partners across all of NIKE, Inc. to define, build and implement comprehensive change management strategies for various technical and business data modernization programs. In addition, you will also be partnering directly with technical product and business teams and executive leaders in executing priorities, communications and being a thought partner.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a lead Change Management team member within our Global Technology Management Office focused on driving enterprise transformation. This lead change manager will be responsible for delivering large and complicated change management plans and implementations on projects for Global Technology organization impacting NIKE, Inc. teammates.

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or a related field; or combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years professional experience in organizational change management
  • Change Management Methodology certification: PROSCI, etc. preferred
  • Effective experience implementing Change Management strategies in global technical initiatives
  • Strong influencing skills and competency to interact with senior management and executives
  • Experience working with many cross functional technical and business teams
  • Experience building and driving executive storytelling across technology and business to drive activation and adoption of complex initiatives
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office and intermediate skills using other software applications to complete and manage tasks, schedules, and projects

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for managing change management activities including readiness and adoption; and work closely with executive sponsors, program teams, program managers, product managers, and scrum leads on dependencies, deliverables, storytelling, communications and adoption risks. You will also apply your experience for resolving problems that arise around stakeholder and organizational risks and issues. You will also drive excellence in change management in support of the data modernization efforts:

  • Assess stakeholder readiness for change and build business case on the change.
  • Drive change management principles and methodology across medium to large global initiatives. Understand stakeholders, their resistance and place in the change journey.
  • Develop, lead and activate training plan and materials to generate momentum, raise awareness and minimize business disruption.
  • Develop complex, global communication plans and materials for specific initiatives to engage stakeholders, drive awareness, adoption and minimize disruption to stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach and communicate status to stakeholders effectively, with an emphasis on maintaining alignment with core project sponsors.
  • Act as an internal consultant to various internal program and initiatives impacting NIKE, Inc. end users.
  • Proactive approach to working with global teams in a virtual setting.
  • Required to adapt our departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Recommend decisions and trade-offs on priorities and portfolio to meet the needs of the projects and the performance objectives.
  • Adapt the plans and priorities to the changes coming from leadership, operational challenges, and technology priorities.
  • Drive and demonstrate link between our Nike mission and our daily work in making sure the work stays relevant and in scope.
  • Find resolutions and actions that impact Nike's image and our culture within the constraints of our policies.
  • Navigate through ambiguity while seeking to understand and clarify initiative goals and next steps.
