We are looking for engaging and diverse students that are willing to join for a 6-month internship starting February 1st, 2025 at our Nike and Converse European Headquarters. Our ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal skills, show willingness to learn and is not afraid of challenges. Our internships allow students to be fully immersed in meaningful work that impacts the future of the business. To be successful in the role our interns must be self-starters who want drive innovation to win as a team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor/Master Degree student or equivalent student within Business Administration, Retail Management, Business Intelligence, E-Commerce, Digital Business, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong research, technical and analytical skills, and excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to bridge between business and technology
  • Proactive, energetic attitude with passion for e-commerce, retail, sport and fashion
  • Affinity with e-commerce platforms and applications and understanding of their business models
  • Eagerness to be an involved part of the team, and to take ownership
  • Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related to Retail, E-Commerce, Technology, Project Management or Business Development are a plus (please include in your CV)
  • A global attitude and ideally a passion for sport!

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST

  • Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/ higher education institution)
  • Be available for a 6-month fulltime internship starting February 1st, 2025

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • You will be responsible for shaping the future of our digital product portfolio and delivering world class digital experiences to our consumers. You will work together with our key business partners in gathering user requirements for new and existing products, transforming those requirements into actual work for our engineers and testing to ensure the product works to the exact specifications. This role will require the candidate to carry out the following tasks:
  • Identify the latest trends in (digital) retail and the e-commerce world
  • Identifying, understanding, and using trend data & consumer insights to simplify path to product journey
  • Analyze Nike's current marketplace, competitors, and consumers, as well as market/consumer trends for value retail, and translate analysis and reports into practical recommendations and present your findings
  • Support team during retail moments and initiatives and develop a multidisciplinary view of path to product in e-commerce
  • Connect with business collaborators in other departments, e.g. Marketing, Retail, and be a key partner to enable their business to grow
  • Supporting in delivering new digital commerce capability;
  • Developing complex process maps of the technology at Nike, powering digital initiatives and recommending changes in processes and systems;
  • Managing Nike Digital project portfolio and initiatives, focusing on delivering sustainable, scalable, and replicable technology solutions for our consumers;
  • Managing project risks by defining risk management plans and analyzing risk for criticality, probability, and impact.
