IN SEASON ANALYST [LEVEL 30, NDDC DSM, NIKE]

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The person will report to the Nike NDDC Planning Director. You will work closely with our MFP, Allocator and a very close partnership with the NDDC Business team, all this to achieve the revenue, margin, and inventory objectives for the current season. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory Operations, Merchandising and Enterprise Business Planning/Performance Operations teams. You will have a highly cross functional scope of responsibilities as you work on end-to-end risks and opportunities to best optimize the in-season business for Nike.

Following skills to be successful in this role:
- 1 Years+ retail planning experience in a vertical or wholesale environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred in disciplines such as Business, Fashion/Textiles, Industrial Engineering
- Microsoft Office, with knowledge in Excel (Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables & macros) Desired: Cognos BI tool, Tableau
- English speaking required.
- Nike Product knowledge, desired
- Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.
- Competence to understand retail KPI's, with the ability to use data and analytics to identify critical information on commercial drivers.
- Ability to work across a matrixed and cross functional environment, with demonstrated success influencing others, leading change, and achieving business results through storytelling (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical audiences.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
The In Season Analyst plays a critical role in meeting consumer needs and optimizing our business during the current season. They focus on analysing key decisions related to pricing, promotions, and inventory movement across Nike's various channels (online, stores, etc.) to maximize revenue, margin, and inventory productivity. We are looking for someone who can create plans, convert them into action, drive innovation and able to work in a faced paced environment, underpinned by a world class team.
The candidate must have a proven track record of analytical skills and business acumen to solve complex issues collaboratively with team members. They will need to regularly work with cross-functional team members to proactively address, resolve, and escalate any business risks or opportunities to maximize our revenue, margin, and inventory productivity.
- You will conduct analysis to determine optimised pricing structures and promotional levers.
- You will determine movements of inventory across Nike's various channels to achieve revenue, margin, and inventory plans.
- You will identify over- and under-performing styles and develop strategies to optimize performance in the marketplace. This will contribute to our business strategies and achievement of our financial goals.
- You will identify opportunities to integrate in-season insights into future in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
